AceShowbiz - Taylor Swift and The Weeknd are top nominees for the upcoming iHeartRadio Music Awards. Taylor leads the pack with a total of eight nods while The Weeknd follows her domination with seven nominations. Both are vying for the coveted Song of the Year and Album of the Year.
iHeartRadio is handing out a lot more trophies this year. There are at least 20 new categories including Female Artist of the Year and Male Artist of the Year. Taylor, Adele, Carrie Underwood, Meghan Trainor, and Selena Gomez are competing for the former while The Weeknd, Ed Sheeran, Justin Bieber, Luke Bryan, and Sam Smith are nominated for the later.
Winners will be feted live from the Forum in Los Angeles on April 3. Fans are invited to vote for their favorites in such categories as best meme, best lyrics, best collaboration, best cover song, best soundtrack, and best fan army. Meghan Trainor and Justin Bieber are among the performers at the event.
