The three top musicians dominate the full list of nominations with 15 nominations apiece, including Top Artist, Top Male Artist and Top Hot 100 Artist.

AceShowbiz - The nominees for the 2018 Billboard Music Awards have been revealed. Bruno Mars, Kendrick Lamar and Ed Sheeran dominate the pack with 15 nominations apiece. They are pitted against each other in five categories, including Top Artist, Top Male Artist and Top Hot 100 Artist.
The trio are battling it out for Top Artist along with Drake and Taylor Swift. They are also nominated for Top Male Artist alongside Drake and Post Malone. In Top Hot 100 Artist category, they are joined in the stiff competition by Imagine Dragons and Malone.
Mars is additionally nominated for Top R&B Artist. He faces off Chris Brown, Khalid, SZA and The Weeknd. He is also up for Top R&B Song, thanks to his two singles "That's What I Like" and "Finesse" featuring Cardi B. The songs join other nominated songs in the category, Khalid's "Young, Dumb & Broke", DJ Khaled's "Wild Thoughts" featuring Rihanna and Donald Glover's "Redbone".
Lamar, meanwhile, scores another nod for Top Rap Album, thanks to his critically acclaimed album "DAMN." Other nominees in the category include Drake's "More Life", Lil Uzi Vert's "Luv Is Rage 2" and Malone's "Stoney".
On the other hand, Sheeran is up for Top Selling Song for his hit single "Perfect". It joins Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee's "Despacito" featuring Justin Bieber, Sam Hunt's "Body Like a Back Road" as well as Imagine Dragons' "Thunder" and "Believer".
Other musicians who score multiple nods at the award-giving show include The Chainsmokers, Camila Cabello, U2, Demi Lovato and Chris Stapleton. Camila is nominated for Top New Artist alongside 21 Savage, Cardi, Khalid and Kodak Black.
The winners will be announced in a ceremony which will take place on May 20 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
