AceShowbiz - The second wave of nominations of the 2017 Teen Choice Awards has been revealed via E! News. Selena Gomez, who previously led the first wave of nominees, still dominates music nominations as she scores three more nods in the second wave. She is nominated for Choice Summer Female Artist, Choice Summer Song for her new single "Bad Liar" and Choice Electronic/Dance Song for her collaboration with Kygo on "It Ain't Me".
The former Disney darling reigns with nine nods in total. Trailing behind her is her ex Justin Bieber, who is nominated in seven categories, mostly for his collaboration with other artists. He is nominated in a brand new category, Choice Latin Song, for his remix of Luis Fonsi's "Despacito".
Bruno Mars scores six nominations in total. In the second wave, Bruno is nominated in four categories, including Choice Summer Tour for his "24K Magic World Tour", as well as Choice Pop Song, Choice R&B/Hip-Hop Song and Choice Summer Song for his hit track "That's What I Like".
Additionally, each member of One Direction has been nominated in at least one category. For Choice Summer Male Artist, Harry Styles, Liam Payne and Niall Horan are competing against one another, along with Justin Bieber, Shawn Mendes and Zedd. Meanwhile, Louis Tomlinson scores one nod in Choice Electronic/Dance Song for his collaborative track with Steve Aoki, "Just Hold On".
The new round of nominees also features other big names in music, such as Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus, Ariana Grande, Ed Sheeran, Rihanna, The Chainsmokers, Maroon 5, Coldplay, Drake and more.
