The hit FOX series adds six nominations, while 'Pretty Little Liars', 'The Vampire Diaries' and 'The Flash' get additional five nods apiece.

AceShowbiz - The second wave of nominations for the 2015 Teen Choice Awards has been announced. "Empire" leads among other TV shows this time with six nominations, including for Choice TV Villain (Terrence Howard) and Choice TV Scene Stealer (Trai Byers). The show's stars Bryshere Y. Gray and Jussie Smollett are also pitted against each other for Choice TV Breakout Star.
The hip-hop drama additionally gets a nod in music category, Choice Song from a Movie or TV Show, for "You're So Beautiful" by Jussie Smollett and Bryshere Y. Gray a.k.a. Yazz.
Strengthening their domination after leading the pack in the first wave, "Pretty Little Liars" and "The Vampire Diaries" add five nods a piece, and so does freshman "The Flash". All three shows are eying Choice TV Villain, along with "Empire" and "Arrow".
"Liars" has its lead actresses Troian Bellisario and Ashley Benson competing for Choice Summer TV Female Star. "Vampire Diaries" gets two nominations in Choice TV: Liplock category for Candice Accola & Paul Wesley's kissing scene as well as Nina Dobrev & Ian Somerhalder's romantic moment.
"The Flash", meanwhile, has its lead actor Grant Gustin nominated for Choice TV Breakout Star along with his co-star Candice Patton, Gina Rodriguez ("Jane the Virgin"), Yara Shahidi ("Black-ish") as well as Bryshere Y. Gray and Jussie Smollett of "Empire".
MTV's new series "Scream" appears in Choice Summer TV Show category alongside "Baby Daddy", "Chasing Life", "Faking It", "So You Think You Can Dance" and "Teen Wolf".
Fans can vote in the second wave of categories via TeenChoice.com, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram through July 24 at 12 P.M. PT. The winners in all categories will be revealed during the ceremony on August 16 which will air live on FOX.
