AMC's 'Walking Dead' is up for Best Syndicated/Cable Television Series, while NBC's 'Hannibal' eyes the coveted Best Network Television Series gong.

AceShowbiz - "The Walking Dead" and "Hannibal" continue their domination at the annual Saturn Awards. After winning big last year, the AMC series and the NBC drama lead the pack of TV nominees for the 41st edition of the prize-giving ceremony with seven and six nominations each.
"Walking Dead" eyes Best Syndicated/Cable Television Series, up against "American Horror Story: Freak Show", "Falling Skies, "Salem" and "The Strain" among others. Its star Andrew Lincoln is nominated for Best Actor in a Television Series alongside Hugh Dancy ("Hannibal"), Mads Mikkelsen ("Hannibal"), Grant Gustin ("The Flash"), Tobias Menzies ("Outlander") and Noah Wyle ("Falling Skies").
Emily Kinney and Melissa McBride who also co-star on the hit post-apocalyptic series are facing off each other in Best Supporting Actress, while Chandler Riggs who plays Lincoln's on-screen son is up for Best Performance by a Younger Actor in a Television Series. The show earns its other nomination in Best Guest Performance category through Andrew J. West's portrayal of Gareth.
"Hannibal" is up for the coveted Best Network Television Series along with "The Blacklist", "The Following", "Grimm", "Person of Interest" and "Sleepy Hollow". In addition to Hugh Dancy and Mads Mikkelsen who are pitted against each other for Best Actor trophy, former cast member Laurence Fishburne earns a nomination for Best Supporting Actor. Caroline Dhavernas eyes Best Supporting Actress title, while Michael Pitt is nominated for Best Guest Performance.
"Game of Thrones" is among nominees for Best Limited Run Television Series. It faces off "Bates Motel", "From Dusk Till Dawn", "The Last Ship", "The Librarians" and "Outlander" in the category.
Two ABC shows "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." and "Marvel's Agent Carter" are competing for Best Superhero Adaptation Television Series, with other contenders including The CW's "Arrow" and "The Flash", NBC's "Constantine" as well as FOX's "Gotham".
Meanwhile, TV veterans "The Vampire Diaries", "Pretty Little Liars", "Supernatural" and "Doctor Who" are facing off "The 100" and "Teen Wolf" for Best Youth Oriented Television Series title.
Winners in all categories, including the best in movie, will be announced at the ceremony set to take place June 25 in Burbank.
