'The Walking Dead' Season 3 Finale Set New Series Record
April 02, 2013 03:04:08"The Walking Dead" is celebrating yet again. The AMC series is unstoppable to score higher amount of viewers and to be declared the top-rated scripted show on television this season. A total of 12.4 million people tuned in to the season 3 finale last Sunday, March 31 at 9 P.M.
The "Welcome to the Tombs" episode surpassed the number posted by the mid-season premiere back in February (12.3M). The only heavy competition coming from another scripted show that night was the closer of History's "The Bible" which lured 11.7 million viewers.

The Governor Will Return to 'The Walking Dead' Season 4
April 01, 2013 02:04:33The tension between Rick and the Governor will likely continue in the fourth season of "The Walking Dead". According to The Hollywood Reporter, David Morrissey has agreed to reprise his role as the villainous leader in Woodbury and will be upped to a series regular in the forthcoming chapter.
The British actor initially only signed on for a one-season role as his character died in the comic book after he led Woodbury into battle with Rick Grimes' gang at the prison. However, [SPOILER ALERT!] Rick and co. managed to avoid the showdown and the villainous character is still alive at the end of the third season finale.

'The Walking Dead' Releases 'I Ain't Judas' Preview and Clips

In the sneak peak, Carl Grimes (Chandler Riggs) goes up to his dad Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) saying he has something to say to him but that he doesn't want him to get upset with what he's about to discuss. Carl tells his dad Rick to stop being the leader of the group of survivors that he's been heading away from the hordes of zombies that have overtaken their town.

'The Walking Dead' Hires Scott Gimple as New Showrunner
January 15, 2013 03:01:46"The Walking Dead" has found itself a new showrunner after Glen Mazzara announced that he wouldn't return to the position for the next season. Supervising producer Scott M. Gimple has now been tapped to take over the role starting the fourth season and his deal is being finalized.
Gimple joined the zombie apocalypse series in the second installment as a producer. He was promoted to supervising producer in the third season. He's expected to begin working on the fourth chapter in two weeks.

'The Walking Dead' Gets Season 4, Loses Showrunner
December 22, 2012 02:12:59"The Walking Dead" has just been given a four season order. AMC announces that they have renewed the zombie apocalypse drama for another season but reveals that season 2 and 3 showrunner Glen Mazzara will not be back in his post.
"Both parties acknowledge that there is a difference of opinion about where the show should go moving forward, and conclude that it is best to part ways. This decision is amicable and Glen will remain on for post-production on season 3B as showrunner and executive producer ...AMC is grateful for his hard work. AMC to Air 'Walking Dead' Season 1 and 2 in Black and White
December 15, 2012 12:12:48AMC is offering a different experience in watching "The Walking Dead". The network will air all episodes of season 1 and 2 of the hit zombie apocalypse series in black and white starting February 14, 2013 at 6:30 P.M.
This special program will kick off with the airing of the first two episodes of the drama series. It will be immediately followed by the second season premiere of Kevin Smith's docuseries "Comic Book Men" at 9 P.M.

"Throughout its run, the AMC program The Walking Dead has featured some of the most graphic and brutally intense violence and gore imaginable," PTC president Tim Winter says in a statement. "In the current season alone the show has depicted hundreds of scenes of grisly murder both of living and 'undead,' but human, characters."

'The Walking Dead' Unveils Season 3 Episode 9 Promo 'The Suicide King'

Now, AMC has released a promo for episode 9 titled "The Suicide King". In the promo clip, fans get to see a lot of gunshots and what may happen to Daryl and Merle when the series goes back on air in February, 2013.
The short yet intriguing episode preview starts with the Governor walking through a chaotic and smoke-filled area with people running and screaming faintly in the background. There is general panic and a line from Glenn saying, "You and I can end this tonight," which hints at the idea of suicide in the title.

New Promo of 'The Walking Dead' 3.08 Reveals Tyreese
November 30, 2012 01:11:53Tyreese is indeed going to be introduced in the midseason finale of "The Walking Dead" and first look at the character can be found in Latino America Fox's promo for the said episode. The footage also confirms reports that "The Wire" alum Chad Coleman takes on the role.
In it, Tyreese and four other people are standing just outside the prison. A woman says, "This is a mistake," before they enter the prison through a broken gate. It appears that one of them is injured.
