At the San Diego Comic-Con, it was announced that Ethan Embry and Merritt Wever would be joining the cast of "". Now details of their roles and first look at their characters have been unveiled via Entertainment Weekly.

Embry is playing Carter, whom showrunner Scott M. Gimple says serves as a composite of different people from the original comic. "Ethan plays a combo of a few characters that we actually haven't hit yet or weren't able to hit in other characters," Gimple explains. "He is an Alexandrian, and has been there the whole time, just quite busy."

The first images from "" season 6 have landed online via Entertainment Weekly. The photos highlight three of the beloved characters on the show, Glenn, Daryl and Maggie.

Both Glenn and Maggie have their weapons drawn. Glenn, who sports some scars on his face, looks ferocious as he's firing his gun. Maggie, meanwhile, seems cautious although it's unclear at whom or which she's aiming her gun. As for Daryl, he has his crossbow slung over his shoulder.

The 41st Annual Saturn Awards was held Thursday night, June 25 in Burbank, California. Dominating the list of TV winners were "" and "" which took home three gongs each.

The recently canceled "Hannibal" was named Best Network Television Series, while "The Walking Dead" won over other syndicated/cable series. "Hannibal" lead and "Walking Dead" star also shared the Best Actor in a Television Series title.

They're all being coy when asked about what would happen in the upcoming season, but are excited to be back on the set. Cudlitz, meanwhile, uses the word "phenomenal" to describe the sixth season, adding that the first episode will "blow your mind."

Heath is a key member of the Alexandria Safe Zone. The character is described as "an eventual Alexandria supply runner, friend to Glenn and love interest to Denise." He is first introduced in issue 69 of the comic book series.

His role is not revealed yet, but there has been a speculation on character that he could play.
