Kim Dickens Tapped as Female Lead on 'Walking Dead' Companion Series

Frank Dillane and Alycia Debnam-Carey are expected to play Nancy's children, Nick and Ashley. The former is a screwed up teenager who is too old to stay home but too scared to flee, while the latter is mostly level-headed teen, whose ambition is in direct proportion to her older brother's failures.

New detail from "" spin-off has emerged. It had been said that the potential new series would see what happens "in other parts of the world" during the zombie apocalypse, and now TVLine reports that the show will be set in Los Angeles, California.

It's unclear, though, if the show will be filmed in L.A. or another city that could double as L.A. Sources tell E! News that the pilot will feature scenes set in a school and a hospital. AMC has not confirmed nor denied the story as other details of the show have been kept under tight wraps.
