The HBO medieval series grabbed the Best Drama award, sharing the title with "Breaking Bad" while edging out other strong competitors, including "The Americans", "Downton Abbey", "The Good Wife" and "Homeland".
"Breaking Bad" snatched another prize, Best Actor in a Drama Series, for its lead Bryan Cranston. Winning the title for the second time, he thanked the critics as saying, "If you were not a conduit, we would not be anywhere."

Nikolaj Coster-Waldau Dishes on the Lannisters Reunion in 'Game of Thrones' Finale

In an interview with Hero Complex, actor Nikolaj Coster-Waldau talked about the Lannister family reunion and what the long and rough journey all this time meant to his character.
"Finally he's back," he said, apparently was as excited as his character was. "I think that moment, he comes back, he arrives in King's Landing. In the street, there's this street vendor, and he's more or less pushed out of the way. They just see a dirty bum. His reaction is a little puzzled, but at that point, he is in many ways a changed man. I thought that was a great way to show that."

George R.R. Martin Plans 'Game of Thrones' Prequel for HBO
March 22, 2013 02:03:18Following the success of "Game of Thrones", a prequel of the medieval series may also head to HBO. According to author George R.R. Martin, he has come up with an idea to develop a new show based on his "Dunk and Egg" novellas, which are also set in the world of Westeros, but a hundred years earlier than the events in his "A Song of Ice and Fire" series.
"I have been writing for a number of years a series of novellas set in the same world, the world of Westeros, but a hundred years earlier, about two characters called 'Dunk and Egg'," he says when asked by IGN about the other projects he's developing for HBO. "I published three of those novellas, 'The Hedge Knight', 'The Sworn Sword' and 'The Mystery Knight', and I have in mind about nine or 10 more novellas about the adventures of 'Dunk and Egg'."

In another scene, Jon gets seduced by Ygritte who undresses herself in front of him.
In the same promo, Melisandre warns that death is coming for everyone, but says that she and possibly Stannis Baratheon that they can stop it. Stannis himself points it out to the priestess of R'hllor that he lost the battle against the Lannisters despite her previous prophecy.

As many as 4.28 million people watched an episode of HBO's "Game of Thrones". It surpassed an estimated 4.2 million viewers which watched the episode on the premium cable channel the night it aired.
