'Supernatural' 5.11 Preview: Sam, Interrupted
November 20, 2009 01:11:49When "Supernatural" returns next year, it will pay homage to Angelina Jolie-starring movie "Girl, Interrupted". The episode which is called "Sam, Interrupted" will see Sam being strapped to a bed inside what could be said a psych ward. From the casting sides, it is said that strange happenings are afoot in the place.
"Sam, Interrupted" is airing on January 14. The show takes a two-month break and will return with the second half of the season including the 100th episode. EW said that the monumental episode will be particularly huge for Jensen Ackles aka Dean.

'Supernatural' 5.10 Preview: Abandon All Hope
November 13, 2009 01:11:02In the next "Supernatural", Sam, Dean and Castiel track down the Colt and head off to find Lucifer to send him back to Hell. It's a hunters' reunion when the crew joins forces with Bobby, Ellen and Jo for what could be their last night on Earth.
The episode is called "Abandon All Hope" and it will boast the guest starring appearances from Alona Tal, Samantha Ferris and Mark Sheppard. The first two reprise their roles as Jo and Ellen respectively while Mark makes his debut as Crowley. The episode will air on November 18 as the last episode of 2009 and the show is scheduled to return with originals on January 14.

Super fan Becky (guest star Emily Perkins) uses Chuck's (guest star Chuck Benedict) phone to trick Sam and Dean into attending a Supernatural fan convention, complete with fans dressed up as Sam and Dean.
One of the activities is a live action role playing game, but things quickly turn sour after a real ghost appears on the scene. Based on the casting call, there would be two young men named Demian and Barnes who are friends and have heroic aspirations despite their exterior appearance.

Previews to 'Supernatural' 5.06, 5.07 and 5.08
October 09, 2009 03:10:28The CW has mashed up altogether the previews to the next three "Supernatural" episodes. The first one which is airing next week is called "I Believe the Children Are Our Future" and it will see Sam and Dean investigating a series of odd murders that strangely resemble fairy tales and urban legends. The brothers track down an 11-year-old boy named Jesse (guest star Gattlin Griffith) and realize that whatever Jesse believes is coming true. Castiel tells Sam and Dean that Jesse is a serious threat and needs to be eliminated.
The episode after "Children" will be "The Curious Case of Dean Winchester". As similar as it sounds to "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button", the storyline itself involves Dean being 70-year-old. In the casting report, it is said that the aging version has not lost any of his verve or edge but his speed. This episode would be the one with the poker player who has a wicked sense of humor and has the ability to read people. "Curious" is airing October 29.

Jeffrey Dean Morgan Says Yes to More John Winchester
September 14, 2009 03:09:03Should creator Eric Kripke decide to bring back John Winchester down to earth on "Supernatural", the actor portraying the character is ready to get in action. Jeffrey Dean Morgan, in his chat with Movie Web, said that he really wants to come back for at least one episode before the show ends for good this season.
"I don't know? I just read somewhere that Kripke wants me back. That guy, I think he's probably lying, but if it is in fact the last year, I'd like to come back," he states. "If it really is going to be canceled after this year then I'd like to come back. I've been saying for the last four years that that storyline got cut out too soon. The first clip which is on a boy receiving a ball from an unknown creature in the dark, is similar to the one that was released in their January 2009 promo, but the other two are new.
Sam and Dean investigate a farm house that seems to be haunted by a woman in the walls. A family moves in to the house but when they are encouraged to move out, they refuse until they find out the real horror that the house is keeping. The episode will air January 15.

'Supernatural' Potentially Adding New Major Character
January 06, 2009 03:01:00There could as well be another Winchester in the clan of "Supernatural" according to E! Online's Kristin Dos Santos. Apart from Sam and Dean, their father, John, may have another offspring out there somewhere. The third brother will join the show but no actor has been hired to fill in the role yet.
John, played by Jeffrey Dean Morgan, appears mostly in the first season and was killed off in the second season. His wife Mary, the mother of Sam and Dean appears occasionally in first, second and fourth season. There had been no indication of another son born to the couple in the past episodes yet.

New Clips From 'Supernatural' January 2009 Episodes
December 15, 2008 02:12:38Three new clips from the "Supernatural" episodes that will air in January 2009 have been released and compiled in a single player below. The three chapters that will come back haunting are "Family Remains", "Criss Angel is a Douche Bag" and "Afterschool Special".
"Family Remains" will be aired on January 15. Sam and Dean investigate a farm house that seems to be haunted by a woman in the walls. In the clip for the episode, a boy discovers that 'somebody' hides in the closet and throws a ball at him. "Criss Angel is a Douche Bag" meanwhile, will be on screen the next week on January 22. A magician turns to black magic to revive his failing career, including transferring his fate when a trick goes wrong.

The show will return next year on January 15 with the episode titled "Family Remains". In the episode, Sam and Dean investigate a farm house that seems to be haunted by a woman in the walls. Two guest starring characters are going to be introduced, one is a clean-cut FBI agent that will help the boys in investigating the murders in the small town but turns sinister later on and the other is an attractive woman named Cara Roberts who is functioning both as a doctor on duty and a wild woman who loves sex and booze.

The young versions of Sam and Dean reveal the past where the former used to dislike traveling and being on the road a lot while the latter took things easier and watched Sam's back. Sam found it difficult to create new circle of friends every time they move in order to follow their demon-chasing father and thus was often being bullied. Meanwhile, Dean found time to socialize and even pursue girls including necking with a local girl.

Somehow, Dean who was obliged to a contract with demon Lilith in the May season finale, is still alive and manages to dig his way out of the grave. Bobby, who finds it hard to believe, grabs a knife and lunges it to Dean. He only believes that Dean is not a form of demon when Dean slashes his arm to reveal red blood.
