Noah Wyle Possibly Cast on TNT's Sci-Fi Series
June 16, 2009 03:06:15Last month TNT announced during its upfront presentation that there will be a new TV series in sci-fi tone which is produced by Steven Spielberg. A casting news has just come up via EW that Noah Wyle, who was last seen on the season finale of "ER", will be one of the leads.
The series is about extra terrestrials invasion, taking place six months after the aliens decimated mankind. According to EW's source, Wyle would play "the leader of a ragtag group of citizens who try to bring down the aggressors." Should the report is true, then it will be a reunion between Wyle and Spielberg, since both were involved in the early years of "ER".

April 01, 2005 10:04:31Actor Noah Wyle has decided to leave medical drama ER, where he plays as Dr. John Carter, as its regular cast member at the end of this season. The 33 years old star who remained with the series through its 11 years, will return for four episodes in each of the next two seasons.
ER executive producer John Wells told USA Today that he was very sad concerning Noah leave because they have had a lot of story together. Also John praised Noah as a wonderful actor and a wonderful man that it's been great to watch him grow up and get married and have a family.
