The FX crime anthology series leads the pack with eight nominations, followed by HBO's 'The Leftovers' and Amazon's 'Transparent' with six nods apiece.

AceShowbiz - The Broadcast Film Critics Association (BFCA) has announced the TV and movie nominations for its 21st Annual Critics' Choice Awards. In the television race, "Fargo" leads among other series with eight nominations.
The FX comedy-crime anthology series is named among nominees for best TV movie or limited series. Also eying the title among others are "Luther", "Show Me a Hero" and "The Wiz Live!". Its stars Patrick Wilson, Kirsten Dunst, Nick Offerman, Jesse Plemons, Bokeem Woodbine, Cristin Milioti and Jean Smart also earn an acting nomination each.
HBO's "The Leftovers" and Amazon's "Transparent" follow close behind with six nods each. The former is a contender for Best Drama Series along with the likes of "Empire", "Mr. Robot", "Penny Dreadful", "Rectify", "The Knick" and "UnREAL". "Transparent" is up for Best Comedy Series, which is also vied for by "Black-ish", "Jane the Virgin" and "The Last Man on Earth" among others.
Also scoring multiple nominations are "The Wiz Live!" (5), "Black-ish" (4), "Mr. Robot" (4), "Penny Dreadful" (4), "American Horror Story: Hotel" (3), "Empire" (3) and many more. Network wise, ABC, FX and HBO dominate the list with 14 nominations each, followed by FOX with 12.

The winners will be revealed at the star-studded Critics' Choice Awards gala, which will be broadcast live from the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica on A&E, Lifetime and LMN on Sunday, January 17 at 8 P.M. ET/ 5 P.M. PT. T.J. Miller will serve as the host.
