Kendrick Lamar dominates the 2025 American Music Awards nominations with a dazzling 10 nods, vying for major accolades including Artist of the Year and Song of the Year.

AceShowbiz - The 2025 American Music Awards (AMAs) nominations have been announced, and leading the pack is none other than hip-hop titan Kendrick Lamar.
Garnering 10 nominations, he is in the running for top honors like Artist of the Year and Song of the Year for his Grammy-winning diss track "Not Like Us." This powerful track is part of an ongoing feud with Drake, who, in turn, has taken legal action against Universal Music Group over its release.
If Kendrick Lamar wins in all eight categories where he's eligible, he will tie Michael Jackson and Whitney Houston for the most American Music Awards won in a single year.
Hot on his heels is Post Malone with eight nominations, including nods for Artist of the Year and Favorite Male Country Artist. His album "F-1 Trillion" is up for Album of the Year, solidifying Malone's crossover appeal after having previously won AMAs in rap/hip hop and pop/rock categories.
Billie Eilish, Chappell Roan, and Shaboozey each received seven nominations while pop juggernaut Taylor Swift scored six nominations.
Other notable nominees include Grammy darling Beyonce Knowles, whose album "Cowboy Carter" is competing for Album of the Year and Favorite Country Album.
The winners will feted on May 26 in Las Vegas, where the awards ceremony is hosted by actress and pop singer Jennifer Lopez. The show will be broadcast live on CBS and available for streaming on Paramount+.
