AceShowbiz - Ozuna leads the nominees for for the 2019 Latin American Music Awards, with nine nods.
This year's nominees were announced on U.S. TV network Telemundo, and on Billboard magazine's website on Wednesday (September 04), with the Puerto Rican artist receiving nods in the prestigious artist, and album of the year categories.
Fellow Puerto Rican, Bad Bunny, and Romeo Santos each have eight nods each, with Anuel AA, another star from the U.S. island territory, receiving seven nominations.
Joining all four on the artist of the year shortlist are Maluma, J Balvin, Mexican group Banda MS (Banda Sinaloense MS de Sergio Lizarraga), Christian Nodal, Daddy Yankee and Karol G.
Bad Bunny's "X 100Pre", Ozuna's "Aura", Anuel AA's "Real Hasta La Muerte", Luis Fonsi's "VIDA" and Santana's "Africa Speaks" are all up for album of the year.
The Latin American Music Awards, which are fan-voted, will be handed out at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood on 17 October.
