The 'Suit and Tie' chart-topper and the 'Thrift Shop' duo bag five nods apiece to lead the November 10 awards.

AceShowbiz - After leading last month's 2013 MTV Video Music Awards with six nominations each, it's deja vu for Justin Timberlake and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis as they meet again at the top with the most nominations of five each at the 2013 MTV Europe Music Awards to take place on November 10 at Amsterdam's Ziggo dome. The nominees were revealed on Tuesday, September 17 by actor Will Ferrell appearing as Ron Burgundy, a role he's going to reprise in "Anchorman" sequel.
Between their five nominations, the two Billboard chart-toppers will go head-to-head in only one category, the Best U.S. Act award. For Timberlake, his four other nods came in the Best Male, Best Live, Best Video for "Mirrors" and Best Look awards, while for Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, they'll be vying for Best Song for "Thrift Shop", Best New Artist, Best Hip-hop, and Best World Stage for "WS Wireless 2013".
Other top acts who shined at the MTV VMAs and then at the EMAs are Best Song nominee Robin Thicke getting recognized once again for his smash hit "Blurred Lines", and Best Female award contenders Miley Cyrus and Lady GaGa who both gave raunchy performances at the August 25 VMAs. The heavily fan-supported Justin Bieber, thanks to his millions of Beliebers, will be up for the Biggest Fans trophy.
Globally popular British-Irish boyband One Direction and their Directioners will be giving Bieber and his Beliebers some stiff competition in the Biggest Fans category, while also hoping for a win in the other categories they are nominated, such as the Best Pop and Best U.K. & Ireland Act. Group member Harry Styles additionally gets an extra nod for Best Look.
