The sixth studio album by the 'Single Ladies' hitmaker is nominated for four major categories at the upcoming 68th Primetime Emmy Awards.

AceShowbiz - Beyonce Knowles' latest album "Lemonade" has picked up four nominations for the 68th Primetime Emmy Awards. Queen Bey's sixth studio album is nominated for Outstanding Production Design for a Variety, Nonfiction, Event or Award Special, Outstanding Picture Editing for Variety Programming and Outstanding Picture Editing for Variety Programming.

Beyonce also earns her first nomination for Outstanding Directing for a Variety Special, going up against Chris Rock, who directed "Amy Schumer: Live at The Apollo". Amy Schumer pokes fun at being up against "Lemonade" in several categories, tweeting, "Thank you! We have a really good shot at beating 'Lemonade' right? Hello?"

"Lemonade" is also up against other nominees including "Adele Live in New York City", "Grease Live", "The Wiz Live!", "Key & Peele" and the "58th GRAMMY Awards".

Lady GaGa's "Til It Happens to You", meanwhile, makes history as the first song ever to receive Emmy, Oscar and Grammy nominations all in the same awards year. The song is nominated for Outstanding Original Music and Lyrics, but the Mother Monster will not receive the award if the song wins.

Diane Warren is the sole nominee on the Emmy nod, despite GaGa being included for the song's Oscar and Grammy nominations. The song is featured in the film "The Hunting Ground", which was aired on CNN.

According to a representative for the Television Academy, "the minimum cue sheet percentage for eligibility is 20 percent. Diane and GaGa worked it out internally that Diane had 90 percent, so GaGa was not eligible and hence did not join Diane on the entry form."
