Fans Start Twitter Campaign to Get Britney Spears on 'Modern Family'
February 02, 2012 03:02:07Britney Spears' fans have recently flooded Twitter with various messages expressing their hope to get the singer on "Modern Family". It all started when the "Oops!... I Did It Again" hitmaker herself declared that she is a fan of the Emmy-winning comedy series.
"I know everybody is excited about the Super Bowl, but I personally can't wait to see the next episode of Modern Family! Funniest show on TV," so she wrote on her own Twitter page. "Modern Family" star Sofia Vergara then retweeted the post, before Spears' manager followed it up with a tweet read, "@BritneySpears on Modern Family? What do you guys think?"

January 19, 2012 10:01:14"Modern Family" drew a controversy by inserting a storyline where 2-year-old Lily dropping the F-bomb. While Aubrey Anderson-Emmons who plays the little girl did not actually say the expletive word either during the taping or on the aired scene, the Parents Television Council (PTC) is still not into the idea.
"It's not suitable language for a child that young in the real world, and it's not suitable language for a child that young on television, either," the group stated. Melissa Henson, director of communications and public education for the organization, additionally told FOX411, "It is certainly in poor taste."

'Modern Family', 'Mad Men' Lead Nominations of Critics' Choice TV Awards

Leading the pack is "Modern Family" with six, including the nominations for Best Comedy Series. Preview: 'Modern Family' Season Finale Has Big Surprises

Phil and Claire, for example, are surprised by their kids who show up on their bedroom with a special treat, but it comes in bad timing. Jay wants nothing more than to have a quiet birthday out fishing on the lake, but the family takes that as him wanting a big celebration.
Meanwhile, in their frantic scramble to put everything together, Claire and Mitchell wind up trapped in the yard of their childhood home. Phil runs into his old college nemesis while at the mall with Gloria and Lily, as Cameron gets himself into some hot water at the bakery, and the kids frantically do some creative editing on grandpa's birthday video. All of which leaves Jay with a headache.

Thunderstruck by the possibility, Kelly Ripa who is a fan of the Mother Monster shared her idea of a possible plot for GaGa. "You're dreaming of Lady GaGa!. I'm going to write this for you right now. Alec Baldwin was the one honored with the best actor title, beating out his own co-star Tracy Morgan in addition to Steve Carell of "The Office" among others.

The gay couple seem to be the only one having an excellent knowledge in movies. Phil, with his honest and naive guesses, said "Pretty Woman", "Babe" and "Milk" when Gloria acts out the movie. Gloria herself has difficulty in guessing Love in "Eat, Pray, Love". When the game was over, Mitch and Cam said, "The whole night was 'Rocky', we almost went 'Psycho', next year we're staying 'Home Alone'."

Matt Dillon Joins 'Modern Family', Brian Austin Green Gets New Pilot

Dillon would play Julie Bowen's character's ex boyfriend. According to EW, Claire's ex has a new galpal and Claire is probably not going to like her because it's Claire's mom, DeDe Pritchett. This means Shelley Long will reprise her role as DeDe. No other details including air date have been announced.

So fed up was Gloria that she compared Colombia to Peru in a degrading manner for the latter.
Jay began his argument with, "Now, maybe in Colombia ...," before he was cut by Gloria saying "Ah, here we go. Because, in Colombia, we trip over goats and we kill people in the street. Do you know how offensive that is? Like we're Peruvians!"

Mary Lynn Rajskub Spotted Filming 'Modern Family'
October 14, 2010 11:10:20It has been revealed before that Mitchell of "Modern Family" used to hide his orientation as a teenager and his girlfriend back then would re-appear in his life. Mary Lynn Rajskub who has been hired to portray the gay-radar-less girlfriend made a trip to the set of the show to film her first scenes on Wednesday, October 13.
Rajskub, who was last seen on "24", arrived at The Grove in casual blue shirt and pants along with the show's regular cast members such as Ed O'Neill, Sofia Vergara, twins Ella Hiller and Jaden Hiller, Eric Stonestreet, and Jesse Tyler Ferguson who plays Mitchell. The rest of the cast were not present.

'Modern Family' Halloween Episode Sneak Peek
October 05, 2010 02:10:50"Modern Family" take on Halloween won't be a surprise after all. The cast of the Emmy-winning series have given a sneak peek of what kind of costume they would wear for the special episode which is expected to air later this month.
The cast shot the episode on Monday, October 4 and they were allowed to tease fans via Twitter. "So it looks like no one will be surprised when they see the MODERN FAMILY cast's Halloween costumes when the show airs," tweeted the show's script coordinator Clint McCray.
