Beyonce Knowles Agrees to Tone Down for Planned Malaysian Gig

Entertainment company Marctensia, the concert's Malaysian organizer, tells AP that "all parties have reached an amicable understanding" about the performance, including that of the singer's stage costumes.
The company, furthermore, also addresses the criticism brought forth by the country's largest opposition group, Pan-Malaysian Islamic Party, which wants authorities to scrap the October 25 show over concern that it would promote "Western sexy performances." The suit, filed Wednesday July 19th in New York State Supreme Court by Greg Walker, CEO of Icon Entertainment, claimed the mother-daughter duo, who design the street-chic collection, hired him in August 2003 to help land endorsement and licensing opportunities. Walker then brokered a $15 million deal for the 24-year-old singer and her mother to create the clothing line with Wear Me Apparel, Corp., a clothing manufacturer. So far, he claims he's collected only $25,000 from Knowles' mother.

In the movie, Beyonce is set to play Deena Jones, one of the Dreamettes, while Foxx has been cast as Svengali-like manager Curtis Taylor Jr. Glover, in addition, will play Murphy's manager, Marty Madison, whereas Murphy is about to play womanizing R&B star James "Thunder" Early.

The beauty tops the poll mainly for her saying "(By) channeling my inner heiress, I created a new opportunity for young heiresses."
In fact, Paris beats out the like of Kanye West, Usher, and Beyonce Knowles, all of whom are ranked from No. 2 to No. 4 in succession. Other celebs with big egos are Christina Aguilera at 5th, Jack White at 6th, Justin Timberlake at No. 7, and Avril Lavigne at No. 8. Rounding out the poll's Top 10 is R. Kelly at No. 9 and Lindsay Lohan at No. 10.
Church Ups for Pepsi Campaign

The Hollywood actor who previously priced himself out of the market to star in the upcoming film "Dreamgirls" has now made a comeback negotiation.
Foxx willingly offered producers of "Dreamgirls" to slash his salary to take part. He says "The first time, it was just me in the movie - no Eddie Murphy, no Beyonce. Then I hear Eddie's doing it, and I'm like, 'Hey, pay me a dollar.' I hear Beyonce's doing it, 'Pay me a quarter.' I just wanted to be part of that. At the end of the day, who cares, man? It's Eddie Murphy; he's my hero. If Dreamgirls works out as I think it will, it will be the greatest thing in the world, a real event. Maybe you won't get $15 million, maybe you get $3 million, maybe $2 million... (but) you are getting more than a paycheck."

"Naughty Girl" Facing Infringement Suit

Jennifer Armour, a Minneapolis musician, filed a copyright-infringement lawsuit in Houston Tuesday, accusing Destiny's Child front-babe Beyonce Knowles of ripping off lyrics and hooks from her "Got a Little Bit of Love For You," for the singer's "Baby Boy," which featured reggae star Sean Paul.
As for her side, Armour claims she's already written the track months before the release of Knowles' solo album debut "Dangerously In Love," which contained "Baby Boy." Further the complaint alleges Knowles stumbled upon the tune after Armour shopped it around the music biz. The case hearing is scheduled for October 28.
"Naughty Girl" Beyonce Owes Wilhelmina Models

For their side, the agency claimed that Beyonce's contract with the related company came about as a result of the singer teaming up with Wilhelmina agents. However, Beyonce allegedly failed to grant the agency's efforts and neglected to pay the commission and service fee she owed.

Beyonce Releases her Own-Line Designer Couture

Moreover, Beyonce says that her first fashion collection which look will be "a mix of vintage things with contemporary things and that it'll be fur with denim, classic with street," will be in stores this fall.
