Details of the upcoming season 2 of "" were shared after the show's renewal was announced on Monday, July 21. Producer Noah Hawley told reporters at TCA summer press tour that the next installment would feature all-new cast and a different setting.

The second season will travel back to 1979 and focus on the younger version of Keith Carradine's character Lou Solverson. "What this next 10-hour movie is going to be is the story of Sioux Falls," Hawley said, although there will be some scenes set in Luverne, Minn. and Fargo.
