Justin Bieber and Beyonce Knowles dominate the nominations list of the upcoming MTV Europe Music Awards. They lead the pack with a total of five nods each. Adele, Coldplay, Shawn Mendes and Lukas Graham follow with four each.
Beyonce and Adele are vying for Best Female along with Lady GaGa, Rihanna and Sia Furler while Justin and Shawn are competing for Best Male along with Calvin Harris, Drake and The Weeknd. Meanwhile, Lucas is battling it out for Best Newcomer along with Bebe Rexha, DNCE, The Chainsmokers and Zara Larsson.
Candidates for Best Song are Adele's "Hello", Justin's "Sorry", Lukas' "7 Years", Mike Posner's "I Took a Pill in Ibiza" and RiRi's "Work" featuring Drake. Nominees for Best Video are Beyonce's "Formation", Coldplay's "Up&Up", Kanye West's "Famous", Tame Impala's "The Less I Know the Better" and The Weeknd's "Starboy" featuring Daft Punk.
The winners will be feted during a live ceremony at the Ahoy Rotterdam in Rotterdam, Netherlands on Sunday, November 6.
