Possible Nominees of 2010 MTV Video Music Awards

Britney Spears, Ke$ha and Katy Perry are listed in three categories, while Lady GaGa, Justin Bieber and Rihanna appear in two fields.

A list mentioning possible contenders for some categories of this year's MTV Video Music Awards has just been found. Britney Spears, Ke$ha and Katy Perry appear in three categories, while the likes of Lady GaGa, Justin Bieber, Rihanna and Black Eyed Peas are listed in two.

The rumored nominations are obtained from a BreatheHeavy member who claims as the one working at MTV. The source on the publication claims further that "the official site [MTV] with all the nominees and information to be released at the weekend."

If BreatheHeavy can be trusted, Spears will battle against GaGa, Ke$ha, Perry and Selena Gomez & The Scene in Best Female Video. The "Circus" singer will once again face off Perry in Best Pop Video along with Rihanna, Miley Cyrus and Pink. Also, she is up for Best Video (That Should Have Won a Moonman).

Furthermore, the top honor Video of the Year is rumored to have Perry and Ke$ha competing against GaGa, Black Eyed Peas and Jay-Z. In Best New Artist category, meanwhile, Ke$ha reportedly will go head-to-head with Justin Bieber, Drake, Melanie Fiona and Wale.

2010 MTV Video Music Awards will be aired live on September 12 from the Gibson Amphitheatre, in Los Angeles, California.

better not be like last year. it was pathetic, "one for you, one for you, one for you, and one for you..." Lady Gaga has to take home at least three in the general categories. It was unbelieveable to see poker face lose to you belong with me. really? like really????? best female, best pop, and video of the year should be easy ones for her. if they brought back best dance video, yup hers too.

It's funny how Katy is on a losing streak. No better luck here. Gaga has to win "Video of the Year" no one else deserves it more. I think "Video of the Year" is gonna be Eminem, Jay Z, Drake and Gaga twice for "Bad Romance" and "Telephone". I'd rather see "Bad Romance" win, though. =)

dont believe this. I think the telephone video will be nominated too. Katy perry will probably be nominated next year. Lady Gaga obviously is going to be nominated for more awards than that. No question about that.
