AceShowbiz - It seems the power of the new Superman is way too strong to beat indeed this time. Newcomer Brandon Routh, who portrays the Man of Steel in the latest installment of the superhero series, "Superman Returns", has soared high to be the most-searched celebrity on AceShowbiz.com and so deserves the top rank on its June 2006 edition of Celebrity Buzz.

Large attention also has been directed to Britney Spears following the wide publications she has received which included the rumor of her divorce and her nude pose on Harper's Bazaar cover besides her new appearance with dark hair, leading her to secure the second position on the list as consequence. Taking up the third rank is Jenna Jameson, who has gone one notch higher from her last position to replace Il Divo.

While Mariah Carey's name still firmly circulates on the top 5 as she has taken seat on number 4, Nicole Kidman strives forward to obtain the fifth place after drawing big buzz concerning her marriage with Keith Urban in Australia. A great leap surprisingly has been made by fellow actress Angelina Jolie who has delivered her first child, Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt, as she jumps significantly from #35 to #6. Lining up behind in a row to number 10 are the new young Daisy Duke April Scott, Christina Milian, John Legend, and Kristin Cavallari whom has been rumored to date Jessica Simpson's ex-husband Nick Lachey.

In the meantime, there are numbers of well-known celebrities marching forward to the list as new entries. Those include the likes of Pamela Anderson, Alyson Hannigan, Dixie Chicks, Pretty Ricky, Vin Diesel, plus Nelly Furtado who has just released her new album, "Loose."

Contrasting with Jolie, "The Da Vinci Code" actress Audrey Tautou shockingly goes down to #59 from her peak position last month. The same thing also happens to lovely Michelle Monaghan as she is driven out from the top ten to the 85th rank. On the other hand, rapper Bow Wow who stars as Twinkie in "The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift", leaps 55 points to 12th position, being accompanied by Joshua Jackson who goes up 24 points from his previous spot.
