'The Chronicles of Riddick' Sequel to Have Epic Fight Scenes
April 04, 2009 02:04:45"The Chronicles of Riddick" lead actor Vin Diesel has come up with another update on the third installment of "Riddick" movie. Sitting down with MTV, the "Fast and Furious" star revealed that there will be some epic fight scenes between the monsters and his character, Richard B. Riddick.
"There will be long scenes and long portions, full acts of just Riddick against the beasts - or creatures - isolated, which will be very compelling," the 41-year-old carefully said. "How that's interwoven with the mythology set forth in 'Chronicles of Riddick' is what we're waiting for from David Twowy, who's almost done with the script." He then added, "It's a 'Chronicles of Riddick' story told in the 'Pitch Black' fashion."
'Fast and Furious' Speeds Up World Premiere in L.A.
March 13, 2009 04:03:47"Fast and Furious" won't be hitting U.S. theaters until April 3, but Universal Pictures have held a special screening event to mark the action movie's world premiere. On Thursday, March 12, the studio rolled down red carpet in front of Gibson Amphitheatre in Los Angeles to welcome cast, crew and celebrity guests.
All four of the film's stars, Paul Walker, Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez and Jordana Brewster were present on the special night. On the red carpet, they were joined by co-star Gal Gadot, director Justin Lin, writer Chris Morgan, and producers Michael Fottrell and Neal H. Moritz.
Vin Diesel Addresses Third 'Chronicles of Riddick' Movie

"Maybe we're too tight-lipped about the next Chronicles of Riddick film," he told GameSpot of when details could be coming out, "and I think circa the release of [Assault on Dark Athena] that's probably when you'll start hearing more about the next Riddick film."
"It is underway and I almost think it's a coincidence that we haven't heard anything, that there hasn't been a lot of public stuff on the Riddick movie," the 41-year-old added during the interview for the upcoming release of "The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena" game. "But it's interesting that you've made that comment."
A Series of Fresh 'Fast and Furious' Pictures Comes Out

Highlighting on the action done by as well as the romance between the movie's four main characters, the pictures exhibit Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, Vin Diesel and Paul Walker as Letty, Mia Toretto, Dominic Toretto and Brian O'Conner respectively.

'XXX' Second Sequel on the Line
September 15, 2008 01:09:54Words are Columbia Pictures are looking forward to do another sequel of "XXX" which is tentatively entitled "XXX: The Return of Xander Cage". Said to be in talks with producer Joe Roth for the sequel's possibility, the studio allegedly plan to team up once again the film's original lead actor, Vin Diesel, and helmer Rob Cohen.
According to Variety, Diesel and Cohen have agreed to come back for the new project although no deal has been signed yet. Diesel will once more take on his Xander Cage character, law-breaking extreme sports enthusiast-turned-government agent. In the first sequel, "XXX: State of the Union", which stars Ice Cube and directed by Lee Tamahori, Cage has been reportedly killed in Bora Bora leading to his replacement by imprisoned former U.S. Navy SEAL Darius Stone as the XXX.
Two 'Riddick' Sequels on the Horizon, Revealed Vin Diesel

Four years after "Riddick" hit the theaters, the titular character's depicter, Vin Diesel, exposed that screenwriter David Twowy is engaged in the scripting of the two sequels.
To MTV News, the 41-year-old action actor revealed the good news saying, "David Twowy right now is writing the scripts." On the reason why the sequels take a long time to be developed, he explained, "Everyone knows I love the Riddick character and I'm always working on it. It just takes five years to make another one because David Twohy and I are so precious about it."

If deals are made, project definitely will bring back the twosome together on screen since the first movie in 2001. The second installment, "2 Fast 2 Furious", only saw Walker make the return while the third, 2006's "The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift", put none of them in the core cast though Diesel did appear in a cameo at the end of the flick.

Ending the speculation on the involvement of Vin Diesel in "Babylon A.D.", the VinXperience site and MNP Enterprises, the company making the film, have just revealed that the actor has indeed been attached to the project as its lead role. Diesel positively will play Thoorop, a toughened war veteran and mercenary who learns that a woman he escorts has carried a synthetic virus within her which could doom the human race.
An adaptation from Maurice Dantec's futuristic French novel entitled "Babylon Babies", pic is helmed by "Gothika" director Mathieu Kassovitz based on the screenplay he himself sets to develop. Production is scheduled to start this November and will take some locations in Prague as well as Canada to meet a 2007 release.

That was the reason why he had to gain 30 pounds more despite the routine exercise he had to stop during the "gain weight process." Though at first felt pretty close to crazy, but Diesel then found it fun to walk around "parading his gut for the cast."
