Speculations about who to play who in the hugely-anticipated "Star Trek" keep buzzing around loudly, and now have two new names as the possible contender for Scotty and Captain Kirk each.
Regarding the Scotty role, TrekMovie.com has confirmed that "Stargate: Atlantis" cast member Paul McGillion recently auditioned for the part in Los Angeles. The 38-year-old actor, just like the original Scotty's portrayer James Doohan, is also a Canadian, albeit a Scottish-born one who can do the required flawless Scottish accent, and was quoted to informed the site, "Obviously it would be a great honour to follow in James Doohan’s footsteps."

Facing each other on screen for the first time, Eliza Dushku and Mike Vogel have given their agreement to topline English-language teen thriller "Mamba", Variety has revealed.
The twosome thus will join the international cast which already included German actress Naike Rivelli and Spanish actors namely Gary Piquer, Alex O'Dogherty, plus Martxelo Rubio in the line-up. The movie itself follows a bunch of surfer students as they get involved in an old satanic board game called Mamba that turns out to cost their life.

The unique experience of having recurrent deaths has become the next Hollywood's horror mystery, entitled "The Deaths of Ian". This time, Star Winston Productions, driven by the famous makeup wonder-worker, Stan Winston, is ready to start producing in London, on the next July 2, 2006. The project will set the budget up to $10 million.
Meanwhile, the producer credit goes to Brian Gilbert and Ralph Camp, and Dario Piana is the director. The story of a slain American guy, who finds himself experiencing the death in every brand new day in a slightly different life and way, has Brendan Hood as the script writer and Mike Vogel (Christian in "Poseidon") plays the leading part.
