Video: Rihanna Performs on 'Good Morning America'

Unlike Adam Lambert's performance which has been pulled out, Rihanna's scheduled live appearances on ABC's "Good Morning America" went as planned. Sporting a white blazer on top of black shirt, the singer entertained the concertgoers with "Wait Your Turn", "Russian Roulette" and "Umbrella" on November 24.

In between the performances, Rihanna managed to have a chat with GMA host Robin Roberts. She joked about having wardrobe malfunction saying, "My dress ... I guess I'm a little too fat right now ... the zip busted. They wanted to stitch it up but I couldn't."

Love is in the air for Rihanna and actor Tristan Wilds, NY Daily News reports. According to the publication, the "90210" star was a guest at the farewell party the songstress threw for her friend over the weekend at her Los Angeles house before she embarks on a set of London gigs.

"No one knew why Tristan was there initially, because it was not an industry party - it was very intimate," a source says. "But everyone quickly realized they weren't meeting for the first time, because they were openly affectionate for everyone to see."

There is no word from Rihanna or any of her people that "Russian Roulette" music video revolves around her past ill-fated romance with Chris Brown. However, its scenes which involve blood are apparently influenced by what happened between the two back in February. Rihanna getting shot on the chest, approached by a speeding car while standing alone at night and locked in a padded cell surrounded by armed guards scrutinizing her every move are captured in it.

Director Anthony Mandler recently shared the concept of the video to MTV. "I think that with this song and the meaning of this song and how loaded it all is, no pun intended, how much imagery and perhaps symbolism that is loaded in this song, the only way to do it was to do something that was visually challenging," he said.

It was announced on Monday, June 22, that the male R 'n' B performer will avoid jail time in the much talked February 8 incident and will instead be sentenced to five years probation and 180 days of community labor to be served in his home state Virginia.

Chris, additionally, will have to complete a year of domestic violence classes, and pay fines. He was also ordered to stay at least 50 yards away from Rihanna, except at industry gatherings when the distance is shortened to 10 yards, and not to have any contact with her, which includes phone, e-mail and text communications. His formal sentencing is set for August 5 later this year, at time of which the court will drop one of the felony charges he is facing, that is making criminal threats.

Rihanna canceled her show in Jakarta, Indonesia due to security reason. Her camp decided to pull off the concert while she and her crew were in Australia following travel advisory issued in the country after three Islamic militants convicted in the 2002 Bali bombing were executed last weekend. "They said Indonesia's security is not supportive," event promoter Troy Waroka told a local press.

Although Rihanna's "Umbrella" has descended U.S. chart in the tenth week, the Jay-Z featuring hit still has its say in U.K. Singles chart. The song enters its tenth week at #1, making itself the longest running Number One single in ten years at the top of the U.K. chart.

With such record, Rihanna joins Whitney Houston and Bryan Adams in the list of singers with #1 hit that stays more than nine weeks. Houston's "I Will Always Love You" remained seated at the top post for ten weeks in 1992 while Adam's "(Everything I Do) I Do It for You" claimed 16 weeks victory one year prior.

LeToya Luckett Tops Albums Chart

It's been six years since her departure from famous girl group Destiny's Child and LeToya Luckett proves she really is good in music industry. The young singer took the No. 1 slot on the U.S. pop album charts with her self-titled debut selling 165,000 copies in the week ended July 30th. What's more, the set also tops the R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart, thanks to unauthorized sales before the official July 25 release date, while its first single "Torn" has already spent three weeks at No. 1 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart.

Los Lonely Boys Debuts at 2nd Spot on the Album Chart

The pop hits collection "Now That's What I Call Music! Vol. 22" rules the album chart, again. This is the second straight week that the set reaches the peak position on the chart, selling 207,000 copies and thus becoming the only album to register six-figure sales in the week ended Sunday.

Meanwhile, the 2nd position on the chart is secured by Los Lonely Boys' "Sacred" taking in another 67,000 copies, and Rodney Atkins' "If You're Going Through Hell" is at 3rd with 55,000 copies. Gnarls Barkley's "St. Elsewhere" is at No. 4 with nearly 53,000 scans, followed by the soundtrack to the Disney Channel original movie "High School Musical" at #5 with sales of 52,000.

The US Billboard Album Charts

Now it's time for us to have a look at the US album chart. There on the very top position on the chart is the 22nd installment of "Now That's What I Call Music," tentatively titled "Now That's What I Call Music! Vol. 22", which sold about 398,000 copies. That amount, in fact, marks the biggest first-week sales since the Dixie Chicks' "Taking the Long Way", which has been sold more than 500,000 back in May.

What's more it's also more than four times as many copies as Johnny Cash's "American V: A Hundred Highways". Then comes at 2nd position on the chart is Thom Yorke's "The Eraser", moving 90,000 copies. Elsewhere on the top 200, Pimp C debuts at No. 3 with his "Pimpalation" sold 87,000 copies, ahead of Nelly Furtado's "Loose" at No. 4.

The Billboard Hot 100 Chart-Toppers

Nelly Furtado's "Promiscuous" holds the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 for the third consecutive week. On top of that the track also is the chart's greatest airplay gainer and remains atop the Pop 100 and Hot Digital Songs charts for a third frame each.

Taylor Hicks is rocketing even higher and higher in the industry, keeps reaping wining after winning from the day he was crowned season five "American Idol" champion. Has just signed his first ever recording contract, he shortly thereafter released his first single, "Do I Make You Proud", on June 13.

As many have predicted, the silver-haired Alabama native's set satisfyingly comes in at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, the Billboard Single Sales chart and the Billboard Pop 100 chart, making it the best selling song in the country with over 190,000 copies sold in its first week of release. What's more Hicks will perform this chart topping song on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno on Thursday, June 22nd.

Christina Milian & Def Jam Parted Ways

Christina Milian has been dropped from her record label Island Def Jam, that's an unfortunate for the R&B singer after only a month releasing her third album "SO Amazin'."

Milian was reportedly dumped by the music label after angered Island Def Jam boss L.A. Reid due to poor album sales. In a further reports it is mentioned that Milian refused to record "S.O.S. (Rescue Me)" - which went on to be a huge hit for Milian's label mate Rihanna.

Come in at No. 3 is "New Joc City" by Yung Joc which debuted with 148,000 copies, followed after by Ice Cube's "Laugh Now, Cry Later" at No. 4 selling nearly 145,000 copies. Rihanna & Wentz Tapped for MTV Movie Awards Pre-Show

Rihanna and Fall Out Boy's Peter Wentz have both been tapped to join the MTV News team as celebrity guest hosts for this year's Movie Awards pre-show.

For the sake of the event, the twosome will team up with MTV News correspondents SuChin Pak and Sway Calloway, interviewing Hollywood's brightest stars as they make their way inside the Sony Picture Studios in Culver City, California.

The U.S. pop charts sees another new winner as Boston metal band Godsmack rules the race on the very top position with its latest release "IV". The set sold 211,000 copies in the week ended April 30. Meanwhile, rock quintet Taking Back Sunday's "Louder Now" bows at No.2 with 158,000 units.

Bruce Springsteen's "We Shall Overcome: The Seeger Sessions" opens at No. 3 with 149,000 copies, ahead of Avant's "Director" at No. 4 with 123,000 copies. Rihanna's sophomore Def Jam album, "A Girl Like Me" opens at No. 5 sold 115,000 copies in its first week. Country trio Rascal Flatts' "Me and My Gang" slid to No. 6 with 111,000 copies.
