September 08, 2009 03:09:47R&B/Hip-Hop group Pretty Ricky have made public a music video that accompanies their new single "Tipsy In Dis Club". They brought out the video on their official website on September 7, the same day their member Spectacular celebrated his birthday.
The video features Pretty Ricky hitting the dance floor during a club party. Beside getting an online debut, the video is also premiered on BET's "106 & Park" during which the group discussed their future after leaving Atlantic Records.

After premiering the video for their first single "Cuddle Up" in June, now the group have already launched another clip for "Knockin' Boots 08" via their official MySpace page today (July 15).
The new clip doesn't have a lot of feature as it only showed the group members singing and doing some sexy moves. It seems that the R 'n' B act dedicated their new video for their female fans by revealing lots of footages of their muscular bodies on it.

June 19, 2008 01:06:40The new music video from R 'n' B group Pretty Ricky has just been premiered on June 18 on BET. The new clip, which was directed by Syndrome, was made to accompany the group's first single title "Cuddle Up".
Just like the song, on the video Pretty Ricky also tap new female group Butta Creame to feature on it. The clip, which seems to be shot in a warehouse lookalike set, starts with the girls group dropping from their jeep and start singing their part of the song.

Pretty announced the recruitment of Ambition on their official MySpace page. Besides revealing their new member on the net, the R&B group have also performed with him on their recent gig.

They won't just snatch any talented person and make him a member, but want a guy with rather specific quality.
Telling MTV on the specification, member Baby Blue said, "We want to stay true to the sound. We're a hip-hop and R&B group. The three of us rap, and the fourth member has to be a singer just to keep the music consistent." He added there should be a brother bond that enable the new member to "cope with all our family issues" and that he "got to be a woman magnet".

While still enjoying the success of their second album, R&B group Pretty Ricky revealed a shocking announcement about member Pleasure. The singer, whose real name is Marcus Ramone Cooper, announced that he has severed ties with the band to go back as a solo artist.
Pleasure confirmed the departure on his MySpace, saying: "Hey y'all I want to address something to y'all. I Love each and everyone of my fans and I would never do anything to upset y'all and disappoint y'all. I want to apologize to all of my Baltimore fans."

Norah Jones is still a favorite. The jazz singer/pianist has her first album in three years "Not Too Late" opened at No. 1 on the U.S. pop charts Wednesday Feb 7th, sold 405,000 copies in its first week on the charts. Jones' last album, "Feels Like Home," debuted at No. 1 in February 2004 with 1.02 million copies; her 2002 debut, "Come Away With Me" reached the top the following year.
Behind her on the 2nd spot is Katharine McPhee's self-titled debut album, which sold 116,000 copies. Holding on to No. 3 is DAUGHTRY's "DAUGHTRY" sold 77,000 copies. Celtic Woman's "A New Journey" debuts at No. 4, taking in 71,000 units, ahead of Pretty Ricky's "Late Night Special" at No. 5 with another 62,000 copies.

In another major week for new releases, Pretty Ricky reaches the best achievement in the US album chart for the week ended Sunday January 28th. The hip-hop boy band has ended the "Dreamgirls" soundtrack's reign at the top of the Billboard 200 with their LP, "Late Night Special", sold 132,000 copies, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
The group's new album beats "Wincing the Night Away" by cult indie act The Shins who comes in 2nd with 118,000 copies sold. In the 3rd spot on the album chart is DAUGHTRY's self-titled RCA debut, which held the No. 1 spot the previous week, sold another 80,000 copies. Following at No. 4 is the new release "2007 Grammy Nominees," a collection of 23 tracks from this year's award contenders, which sold 77,000 copies.
