AceShowbiz - The Wednesday, November 20 episode of "The Masked Singer" was quite special as a legend was unmasked at the end of the episode. Before going to the big reveal, viewers were offered with two major face-offs of the show.
The first battle was between the Flamingo and the Leopard. Flamingo, whose clue included the Eiffel Tower and Taj Mahal, performed a powerful rendition of "Lady Marmalade" by Patti LaBelle. The judges guessed that Flamingo could be Adrienne Bailon, Bella Thorne, Jillian Michaels or Fantasia Barrino.
As for the Leopard, he sang "September" by Earth, Wind & Fire. Ken Jeong guessed Donald Glover, while Nicole Scherzinger initially thought that the Leopard could be RuPaul because he brought up "glamazon" and "champion" in his clue package. But she later went with Seal and Robin Thicke agreed. Flamingo won the face-off!
Following it up was a face-off between the Flower and the Rottweiler. The Flower hit the stage first, singing "Alone" by Heart before revealing that she had performed "all around the world." Jenny McCarthy and Robin were convinced that the Flower was Patti LaBelle. However, guest panelist Joel McHale thought she was Barbra Streisand.
The Rottweiler performed "Grenade" by Bruno Mars which made Jenny think he was Gavin Rossdale. Ken, meanwhile, believed he was Billie Joe Armstrong with Robin still going with Darren Criss as his guess. Rottweiler was announced as the winner!
That meant the Flower would be going against the Leopard in a smackdown. For her performance, Flower sang "Eye of the Tiger" by Survivor, while the Leopard performed "Don't Cha" by The Pussycat Dolls. At the end of the day, the Leopard won and the Flower was sent home.
In the final guesses, Nicole, Robin and Jenny all guessed Patti LaBelle with Ken thinking the Flower was Bjork. As for Joel, he went with Dionne Warwick. It was later revealed that the Flower was Grammy-winning soul singer Patti LaBelle!
