AceShowbiz - After tying the knot with George Clooney, Amal Alamuddin has changed her name to her husband's name. Amal is listed as Amal Clooney on the website of her London-based law firm, Doughty Street Chambers.
The London-based lawyer got back to work as she arrived in Athens, Greece on Monday, October 13 to meet Greek Prime Minister Antonis Samaras to talk about Greece's bid to win back the Parthenon Marbles, a set of ancient sculptures which are currently held at the British Museum in London.
George, meanwhile, got back to work last week as he promoted his upcoming movie "Tomorrowland" at the New York Comic Con. He joked during a panel at that time, "It is not lost on me that I'm spending my honeymoon at Comic-Con."
Amal and George got married in late September in Venice, Italy. The couple had their formal ceremony on September 27 with guests that included Matt Damon and his wife Luciana Barroso, Anna Wintour, Cindy Crawford and her husband Rande Gerber, Bill Murray and actress Ellen Barkin.
The pair were then officially married under Italian law after having a short civil ceremony on September 30.
