AceShowbiz - Jennifer Lawrence made an appearance at the London premiere of her new movie "Serena" on Monday, October 13. The Oscar-winning actress looked pretty in a chic black dress with plunging neckline by Dior at the event which is a part of the 2014 BFI London Film Festival. The 24-year-old actress completed her look with a pair of matching heels and simple earrings.
Lawrence was joined by "Serena" director Susanne Bier and the BFI festival director Clare Stewart on the red carpet. The trio was all smiles as they posed for photos together at Vue West End. At one point, the "American Hustle" actress poked fun at herself by sticking her finger in the poster of her character's face.
Set in North Carolina in the 1930s, "Serena" tells the story of a husband and wife, played by Bradley Cooper and Lawrence, who struggle to maintain their timber business. It is based on a novel of the same name by Ron Rash.
This is not the first time Lawrence works with Cooper. They previously starred in "Silver Linings Playbook" which landed her an Oscar for Best Actress.
