Johnny Depp is the Sexiest Man Alive of the Year, according to People magazine. This marks the second time the actor nabs the first spot in the publication's annual list after previously scooping the same honor in 2003.
"From a sexy swashbuckler in the 'Pirates of the Caribbean' franchise to quirkier roles like Edward Scissorhands, the 46-year-old star has had women swooning since his days as a teen detective on '21 Jump Street'," the weekly magazine writes about Depp. "Yet it's his devotion to his family that really makes the actor so endearing."
Depp is joined in the list by some other Sexiest Men Alive of 2009 which include a number famous names ranging from movie industry to music to sports. Ryan Reynolds, Bradley Cooper, Robert Downey Jr., David Beckham, Jake Gyllenhaal, Gilles Marini, Adam Lambert, and Robert Pattinson are some of them.
In addition to them all, there are also the cast of hit TV series "Glee", Matthew Morrison, Cory Monteith, and Mark Salling. The complete list of the 2009 Sexiest Men Alive is featured on the latest issue of People, which hits the newsstands now.

Oh, shut up. As if anyone's gonna listen to you. And for his rather advanced age, he's still pretty much got it. For your information, he is the RIGHT choice to be chosen as Sexiest Man Alive, and anyway! The polls are in, there isn't ANYONE WHO CAN DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT. :)
oK, Jonny Depp looks fine, however, he is not the sexiest man alive. I'm not sure who makes the selections for Sexiest Man, however, I do know that People Magazine gets it wrong each time. Someone over there must be "high as a kite" when selecting the sexiest man alive, or maybe their vision is impaired to some degree. WHOMEVER IS IN CHARGE OF THIS TASK, SHOULD FIND SOMETHING ELSE TO DO.
