This year's teen fan favorites in movies, television, music, pop culture and sports will soon be known when the 2013 Teen Choice Awards airs on August 11 on FOX. But first, they would have to be voted from among the nominees revealed today.

In the music categories, country music superstar Taylor Swift, award-winning crooner Bruno Mars and pop rapper Pitbull already lead the nominees list with two nods apiece. With no less than the top acts in each individual category being listed, to be at least nominated may already be considered as an achievement.

Swift is up against own BFF Selena Gomez for the choice female artist award, along with Demi Lovato, Pink and Rihanna. As expected as well, the "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" singer also makes it to the choice female country artist category, pitted against "American Idol" season three champion Carrie Underwood, Jana Kramer, Kacey Musgraves and Pistol Annies' Miranda Lambert.

Meanwhile, Mars and Pitbull are both vying for the choice male artist title versus the two Justins, Justin Bieber and Justin Timberlake, along with another "Idol" champion, season eleven grand winner Phillip Phillips. Mars is likewise competing for the choice R'n'B artist award against divas Beyonce Knowles and Alicia Keys while Pitbull makes it to the choice hip-hop/rap artist category, with some tough competition from Kanye West, Nicki Minaj, Drake and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis.
