The 'Hunger Games' actress tops the Forbes list ahead of Scarlett Johansson, Jennifer Aniston, Julia Roberts, and Angelina Jolie.

AceShowbiz - Jennifer Lawrence is this year's highest-paid actress in Hollywood, according to Forbes. The actress earned an estimated $52 million during the past twelve months. Her money came from her movie roles and a lucrative deal as the face of fashion house Dior.

The Oscar winner starred in "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 1", "Serena", and "X-Men: Days of Future Past" last year and will next be seen in "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 2", "Joy", and "X-Men: Apocalypse" this year.

Scarlett Johansson follows at the second spot with $35.5 million, Melissa McCarthy rounds up the top 3 with $23 million, Fan Bingbing trails closely behind with $21 million, and Jennifer Aniston occupies the fifth place with approximately $16.5 million.

Meanwhile, Sandra Bullock who topped last year's list with $51 million is thrown out of the top 10. She now sits at No. 15 as her earnings dropped to $8 million. She has no movie release in 2014 and will be seen in "Our Brand Is Crisis" after recently lending her voice to "Minions".

Despite being the highest amount in the female department, Jennifer Lawrence's earnings is a far cry from the estimated $80 million of Forbes' biggest-paid actor, Robert Downey Jr. It's also revealed that only four actresses collected more than $20 million while 21 actors reached that level in the male department.
