David Letterman Enlists George Clooney, Oprah Winfrey as Guests for Final 'Late Show' Episodes

CBS has announced a bunch of A-listers, such as Billy Crystal, Tom Hanks and Robert Downey Jr., who will appear in Letterman's final 28 broadcasts of the 'Late Show'.

AceShowbiz - Nearing his retirement, David Letterman has enlisted a bunch of celebrities to appear on his final 28 broadcasts of the "Late Show". Among them are George Clooney, Billy Crystal, Oprah Winfrey and Tom Hanks.

Sarah Jessica Parker will appear in this week's episode (April 13) with 2015 Masters champion Jordan Spieth and music guests Asleep at the Wheel. Billy Crystal, Julie Chen, and Chris Stapleton will stop by the talk show on April 14. Michael J. Fox and Amy Sedaris are tapped as guests for the April 15 episode with musical guests Iron & Wine and Ben Bridwell. Kevin James, comedian Tom Dreesen, and musical guest Tracy Chapman will all appear on April 16, while Alec Baldwin and musical guest John Mayer are slated to appear in the April 17 episode.

The other booked guests include Robert Downey Jr., Will Ferrell, Tina Fey, Jack Hanna, Scarlett Johansson, Michael Keaton, Steve Martin, Bill Murray, Don Rickles, Julia Roberts, Ray Romano, Paul Rudd, Jerry Seinfeld, Martin Short, Howard Stern, John Travolta, Bruce Willis, The Avett Brothers and Brandi Carlile, Elvis Costello, Dave Matthews Band, Emmylou Harris, Norah Jones, Mumford & Sons, Ralph Stanley and Amos Lee.

CBS will announce more guests in the coming weeks.

Letterman will sign out from the talk show which he has hosted for 22 years on May 20. Stephen Colbert has been tapped to replace him.
