Ed Sheeran gave full support to his good friend Taylor Swift's relationship with rumored new boyfriend Calvin Harris. The statement came during his backstage interview with iHeartRadio's ZM station on Sunday, April 12.
"No, he's cool. He's a really nice guy. Really, really nice guy," he said of the Scottish DJ after being asked about his opinion about Swift's alleged new lover after his show in Auckland, New Zealand.
"Yeah. Well, I'd give... Yeah, I'd give the seal of approval with...," the singer of "Lego House" told the show's host after she asked whether or not Sheeran approved of the relationship. "You know, certain people are just nice people in the industry. I met him maybe a year ago," he added and again emphasized, "Good guy. Yeah, Really, really good guy."
Swift and Harris' love story began in February at the 2015 Brit Awards where the "Love Story" singer won the International Female honor. The two got closer after texting for approximately two weeks. On March 7, Swift jetted off to Las Vegas to watch the DJ perform.
The rumored new couple then was spotted holding hands at Kenny Chesney's Nashville concert on March, 26. It was also reported that Harris wrapped his hands around Swift's slender waist. Later in the evening, the two shared PDA-filled moments at the concert, where Swift also performed.
