Lisa Marie Presley 'Confused With Every Emotion Possible' Over Michael Jackson's Death

The singer is quoted as saying she is "very sad, confused with every emotion possible, and heartbroken" over the death of her ex-husband, whom she briefly married in the 90s.

AceShowbiz - Singer Lisa Marie Presley joins the long list of mourners who pay tribute to late Michael Jackson, telling People, "I am so very sad and confused with every emotion possible. I am heartbroken for his children, who I know were everything to him, and for his family." She adds, "This is such a massive loss on so many levels, words fail me." Lisa was married to Michael in May 1994, but the pair then divorced in January 1996. They have no children together.

Brooke Shields, who briefly dated Michael, also shares her grief. She states, "My heart is overcome with sadness for the devastating loss of my true friend Michael. He was an extraordinary friend, artist and contributor to the world. I join his family and his fans in celebrating his incredible life and mourning his untimely passing."

Also expressing great loss in the wake of Michael's sudden death is fellow singer Madonna. She says, "I can't stop crying over the sad news. I have always admired Michael Jackson. The world has lost one of the greats, but his music will live on forever! My heart goes out to his three children and other members of his family. God bless."

Fellow music star Justin Timberlake opts to take it to his website to pay tribute to Michael. He writes, "We have lost a genius and a true ambassador of not only Pop music but of all music. He has been an inspiration to multiple generations and I will always cherish the moments I shared with him on stage and all of the things I learned about music from him and the time we spent together. My heart goes out to his family and loved ones."

Meanwhile, one of Michael's closest friends Elizabeth Taylor is "too devastated" to comment on his death, People reports. Following in the footsteps of them all is Britney Spears. In a statement released on Thursday afternoon, June 25, soon after Michael was pronounced dead, she states, "I was so excited to see his show in London. We were going to be on tour in Europe at the same time and I was going to fly in to see him. He has been an inspiration throughout my entire life and I'm devastated he's gone!"
