Rihanna reportedly celebrates her 21st birthday by going to an early showing of "Madea Goes to Jail" before then having a party in the Hollywood Hills.

AceShowbiz - Avoiding media spotlight since her alleged altercation with Chris Brown has been exposed by the media, Rihanna still had a birthday party after all, celebrating her 21st birthday in style by going to a movie with friends and partying. "She looked beautiful. She was wearing glasses, so you couldn't see her eyes, but she looked fine to me," Life and Style quoted an eyewitness as claiming.
"Rihanna, accompanied by some pals, first went to an early showing of Tyler Perry's 'Madea Goes to Jail' in Santa Monica," the eyewitness continued. After watching the movie, the singer and her companions hit up the Hollywood Hills for a birthday party. "People were scrambling at her feet to make sure her every wish was granted. There was birthday cake, champagne, you name it!" a party guest testified.
"She was a bit shy at first and kept her glasses on most of the night. But once she saw her old crew and got used to being out, she really got into it. She was even dancing!" the party guest went on detailing. "You could tell she was happy to be out. She needed it."
And just before the party wrapped up, Rihanna's friends serenaded her with "Happy Birthday." "That definitely made her smile!" the party guest revealed further to Life and Style. "She's healing and it will take time, but she still looked beautiful."
Rihanna's record label, as previously reported by E! Online's Marc Malkin, canceled plans to throw her a birthday party which was supposed to be held in N.Y.C. The feast was initially planned for about 200 guests and was to have a carnival theme with various "sideshow" attractions. However, Rihanna and Chris Brown's blow up, occurring on February 8, has forced her record label to cancel the planned party.
