AceShowbiz - Saturday Night Live has unveiled its initial lineup of hosts and musical guests for its 51st season on NBC. Following the show's landmark 50th anniversary season, the sketch comedy series is set to return on October 4, 2025.

The season premiere will be hosted by Bad Bunny, marking his second time in the role, with musical performances by Doja Cat, who will make her debut as the show’s musical guest.

Former cast member Amy Poehler is scheduled to host on October 11. This will be her third time hosting Saturday Night Live. The musical guest for this episode will be Role Model.

On October 18, Sabrina Carpenter will take on both roles as host and musical guest.

After a brief week off, the show will return on November 1 with Miles Teller hosting for the second time. The musical guest for this episode will be Brandi Carlile. The next week, comedian Nikki Glaser will make her hosting debut alongside musical guest sombr.

On November 15, newcomer Glen Powell will host his first episode with Olivia Dean as the musical guest.

The show’s December lineup features a return by Melissa McCarthy on December 6, who will host for the sixth time, paired with Dijon as the musical guest. The following week, December 13, will see Josh O’Connor make his hosting debut, joined by Lily Allen performing as musical guest.

December 20 will close out the year with a star-studded episode hosted by Ariana Grande, marking her third time in the role. Cher will return to SNL as the musical guest.

As 2026 begins, the show will welcome three first-time hosts in consecutive weeks. On January 17, Finn Wolfhard will host with A$AP Rocky as the musical guest. January 24 will feature Teyana Taylor as host and Geese as the musical guest. The month will conclude on January 31 with Alexander Skarsgard hosting and Cardi B providing the musical entertainment.

The January 31 episode will be a significant milestone for the series, marking the 1,000th regular episode of Saturday Night Live since its inception in 1975.

Following a break for the Winter Olympics, the show will resume on February 28 with Connor Storrie hosting for the first time and Mumford & Sons performing as the musical guest. On March 7, Ryan Gosling will host his fourth episode with Gorillaz making their debut as musical guests.

On March 14, Harry Styles will perform as both host and musical guest.

Season 51 will also feature a major cast transition. Several longtime members have departed. In their place, five new featured players have been added: Tommy Brennan, Jeremy Culhane, Ben Marshall, Kam Patterson, and Veronika Slowikowska.

The returning cast includes familiar names such as Michael Che, Mikey Day, Andrew Dismukes, Chloe Fineman, Marcello Hernandez, James Austin Johnson, Colin Jost, Ashley Padilla, Sarah Sherman, Kenan Thompson, Jane Wickline, and Bowen Yang.

The season will continue into April with Jack Black hosting on April 4 with musical guest Jack White, and Colman Domingo hosting on April 11 with musical guest Anitta.

As the lineup expands, Saturday Night Live fans can look forward to a diverse range of hosts and musical guests throughout the season.
