The Maroon 5 singer isn't the only celebrity friend of the couple who isn't invited to their intimate wedding as other former 'The Voice' coaches like Nick Jonas, Alicia Keys and Kelly Clarkson don't attend the ceremony.

AceShowbiz - When Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani tied the knot, fans might expect to see Blake's frenemy Adam Levine performing at the ceremony. The country star also often talked about his plan on having the Maroon 5 frontman singing at his wedding. However, the latter apparently wasn't invited to Blake and Gwen's wedding earlier this month.

A source claimed to Radar Online, Adam wasn't even aware that the couple was going to get married in the first place. "Adam had no idea when Gwen and Blake very going to get married," the source said. "Adam wasn't invited to the wedding and was not given the heads up despite the fact that Blake and Adam used to be as close as brothers when they were both on 'The Voice' together."

Adam was actually in Miami when Blake and Gwen exchanged vows in intimate nuptials at Blake's ranch in Oklahoma. The husband of Behati Prinsloo actually was doing yoga with his personal trainer Austin Pohlen on Saturday, July 3. Austin even shared a few workout videos of the singer on his Instagram page.

Adam apparently was not the only Blake and Gwen's celebrity friend who was not invited to their intimate wedding. "It wasn't just Adam that was [not] invited. Kelly Clarkson, Nick Jonas, Alicia Keys, Christina Aguilera, Cee-Lo Green, Shakira, Usher, Pharrell Williams, Miley Cyrus and new host Ariana Grande were not invited either," the insider further claimed. "This was a wedding for close friends and family. Not Hollywood celebrities."

"Rather than focusing on who Blake and Gwen are not close with, I think it's interesting to focus on just how close they are with Carson [Daly]. He is literally family at this point," the source said of Carson Daly, who officiated the wedding.

In an interview with TODAY, Carson said, "Aside from what the show, from an employment standpoint, has done for me and my family, you know, my friendship with Blake is probably the next best thing I’ve yielded by being on the show." He went on to say, "It was incredible to be part of such an important moment in their lives."

The host added, "The best way to describe it is it was perfectly them -- the whole weekend and the marriage itself. It was as elegant and refined and cool as Gwen is, and it was as country and down-home and fun as Blake is."
