Nominees for the upcoming 49th annual Country Music Association Awards are announced on "Good Morning America" with the help of Steven Tyler and Kelsea Ballerini. Taking the most nods this year are Little Big Town and Eric Church. They collect five nods each.

The two are pitted against each other for Song of the Year, Single of the Year, and Musical Event of the Year. Little Big Town is additionally nominated for Album of the Year and Vocal Group of the Year while Church is vying for Male Vocalist of the Year and Entertainer of the Year.

Ballerini herself scores two nominations. She is battling Sam Hunt, Maddie & Tae, Thomas Rhett, and Chris Stapleton for New Artist of the Year. She has a stiff competition with Miranda Lambert, Kacey Musgraves, Carrie Underwood, and Lee Ann Womack in the category of Female Vocalist of the Year.

Underwood is additionally nominated for Music Video of the Year along with Lambert and Musgraves. Lambert adds two more nods, Entertainer of the Year and Musical Event of the Year.

The winners will be announced during a live telecast on November 4 at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena. Underwood will host the event along with fellow country singer Brad Paisley.
