To celebrate Jackson's award, she's honored with an amazing tribute from singers/dancers Tinashe, Jason Derulo and Ciara. Each of them performed a dance to the 49-year-old singer's songs like "Rhythm Nation" and "All for You".

Jackson wasn't the only one who had a big night at the 2015 BET Awards. Chris Brown, Beyonce Knowles and Nicki Minaj were among the biggest winners at the prize-giving event as they took home multiple awards.

Breezy bagged the Best Male R&B/Pop Artist and the Fandemonium Awards. Bey, meanwhile, won the Best Female R&B/Pop Artist and Video of the Year for her "7/11". As for Minaj, she's named Best Female Hip-Hop Artist. Her "Only" featuring Lil Wayne, Drake and Brown earned the Coca-Cola Viewers' Choice Award.

In movie categories, "Selma" nabbed the Best Movie gong while Terrence Howard and Taraji P. Henson won the Best Actor and Best Actress, respectively. In sports categories, Stephen Curry was named Sportsman of the Year and Serena Williams won the Sportswoman of the Year title.
