Also taking the stage at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday night, June 28 were Nicki Minaj, Meek Mill, The Weeknd, Alicia Keys, Big Sean and E-40.

AceShowbiz - Kendrick Lamar and Chris Brown were among those who graced the stage at the 2015 BET Awards on Sunday night, June 28. The former kicked off the festivities with a live rendition of "Alright" off his latest album "To Pimp a Butterfly".

For his performance, Lamar brought along onstage several backing dancers and a couple of vandalized police cars. Donning a casual jacket over a black shirt teamed with ripped jeans, he rapped his bars atop one of the cars with a giant American flag in the background.

Brown, meanwhile, excited the crowd at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles with the first live performance of "Liquor", the lead single off his new album scheduled for release this fall. He later brought out Tyga for "Ayo" from their collaborative album before assisting Omarion for their "Post to Be".

Also performing at the event was P. Diddy who reunited with his Bad Boy artists to celebrate the record label's 20th anniversary. The rap mogul was joined by Ma$e, Faith Evans and Lil' Kim among others for a medley of hits like "It's All About the Benjamins", "Mo' Money, Mo' Problems" and "Love Like This Before".

However, not everything went smoothly for Diddy. While performing "It's All About the Benjamins", he fell into an open hole on the stage before pulling himself back onto his feet and continuing the performance.

Other notable performances that night came from Meek Mill, The Weeknd and Big Sean. The MMG rapper teamed up his girlfriend Nicki Minaj and Breezy for "All Eyes on You" off his "Dreams Worth More Than Money" album.

The Weeknd, meanwhile, joined forces with Alicia Keys for a version of "Earned It" from the "Fifty Shades of Grey" soundtrack. As for Sean, he played a medley of singles off his "Dark Sky Paradise" album, including "One Man Can Change the World" and "Blessings". E-40 later joined him for "I Don't F**k With You".
