Donning an all-black ensemble, the Barnabas Collins depicter is joined on the black carpet by his beautiful co-stars Eva Green, Michelle Pfeiffer, Bella Heathcote and Chloe Moretz.
Less than a week before it opens wide in the U.S., "Dark Shadows" held its Hollywood premiere on Monday, May 7. Taking place at the Grauman's Chinese Theatre, the special screening event was attended by its starry cast members, including Johnny Depp, Eva Green and Michelle Pfeiffer.
Leading actor Depp stole the limelight in his all-black ensemble that he paired with his trademark blue-tinted spectacles. Letting loose his long hair, the Barnabas Collins depicter finished off his look with some ethnic necklaces.
Green, meanwhile, oozed sexiness in a skin-tight dress. The actress playing jealous witch Angelique Bouchard paired her ash-colored sequined gown with a pair of elegant long earrings and a simple chignon. She also sported a chic smokey-eye makeup.
Pfeiffer looked stunning in a golden Lanvin mini dress that she teamed with a matching Bottega Veneta miniaudiere and Rona Pfeiffer bangles and necklace. The necklace was the same one she donned in the movie.
Other cast members who went high fashion on the black carpet were Bella Heathcote and Chloe Moretz. The former rocked a vintage white gown with a simple black belt, while the latter kept it classy in a patterned blue dress by Stella McCartney.
An adaptation of 1960's Gothic soap opera of the same title, "Dark Shadows" centers on Depp's Barnabas Collins who is accidentally freed from his tomb two centuries after he was turned into a vampire and buried alive by Angelique Bouchard. Coming back to his home in Collinwood Manor, the vampire finds his once-grand estate falls into ruin.
Directed by Tim Burton, the supernatural comedy film will arrive in theaters nationwide on May 11. Also supporting the much awaited movie are Helena Bonham Carter, Jackie Earle Haley, Jonny Lee Miller and Gulliver McGrath.
