The actor reportedly was rushed to an Encino, CA hospital on Sunday afternoon, September 20 after his daughter found him "drinking to excess."

AceShowbiz - New report has just surfaced by the hour that David Hasselhoff has been rushed to the hospital with alcohol poisoning. Breaking the story was Radar Online, which claimed that a 911 call was made from the actor's Los Angeles house on Sunday afternoon, September 20 and soon thereafter an ambulance was seen transporting someone from the building.

Identity of the patient was kept under wrap. Bryan Humphries of Los Angeles City Fire Department didn't provide details on the happening, simply telling Radar Online that "One city fire ambulance responded to an unknown medical emergency at 3:15 P.M. at Louise Street in Encino and transported one individual with an unknown illness to a local hospital."

Hours later, Radar Online confirmed in another post on its site that the patient taken by the ambulance was David. He was transported to an Encino, CA hospital for what was cited as alcohol poisoning. No statement has been made just yet by the actor's camp regarding the report.

In the meantime, TMZ reported David's daughter Hayley Amber was with him when she found him "drinking to excess." The young girl then phoned her mother, actress Pamela Bach, to inform her about what was going on. After that one of Pamela's friends called 911. The site claimed David was supposedly released from the hospital later that night.

Dealing with alcohol poisoning, in fact, isn't something new for David Hasselhoff. Back in May, he was reported being hospitalized for the same issue. As of the press time, it is reported that he has been hospitalized for alcohol poisoning more than five times during the past few years.
