As the October release date of "Saw VI" is fast approaching, two more photos from Lionsgate's forthcoming horror thriller have arrived. Found on the official Saw Facebook group page, the brand new pictures take a close-up shot at two of the film's major characters. One sees Tobin Bell's Jigsaw, the other exposes the movie's main character, Peter Outerbridge's William Easton.

Days earlier, the first TV spot for this sixth movie from the "Saw" series was brought out. The 30-second snippet teased more of the deadly traps terror ignited by Jigsaw as well as provided a look at some never-before-seen footage.

Continuing the story of Jigsaw's lethal games for a second chance in life, "Saw VI" uncovers that Special Agent Strahm is dead, and Detective Hoffman has emerged as the unchallenged successor to Jigsaw's legacy. However, when the FBI draws closer to Hoffman, he is forced to set a game into motion, and Jigsaw's grand scheme is finally understood.

The movie sees the replacement of director David Hackl with "The Strangers" editor Kevin Greutert in the directing position. While facing a change in the helmer, it holds on to screenwriter duo Marcus Dunstan and Patrick Melton for the film's script. Shawnee Smith, Costas Mandylor and Mark Rolston are among the cast members returning to the series. This movie is scheduled to open wide in the U.S. on October 23.
