Nominees of the 35th annual People's Choice Awards have been announced. Breaking the news are Joshua Jackson of "Fringe" and Carrie Ann Inaba of "Dancing with the Stars" alongside actors from "Gary Unmarried", Paula Marshall and Jay Mohr.
From the list posted below, it is revealed that Rihanna leads the nomination list by receiving three nods. She is nominated for "Favorite Female Singer", facing off Alicia Keys and Carrie Underwood. On "Favorite Pop Song", her up-beat jam "Disturbia" will compete with Katy Perry's "I Kissed a Girl" and Jordin Sparks' "No Air" featuring Chris Brown.
Following Rihanna's domination on the list are Brown, Underwood, Keys, Rascal Flatts, and Coldplay, who all get two nominations each. Brown is nominated for "Favorite Male Singer", battling Kenny Chesney and Brad Paisley, and for "Favorite R&B Song" on which his single "With You" will compete with Rihanna's song "Take a Bow" and Keys' "No One".
Beside entering a battle on "Favorite Female Singer", Underwood will also try her luck on "Favorite Country Song" where her "Last Name" will compete with Taylor Swift's "Love Story" and Rascal Flatts' "Take You There". On another category, Rascal Flatts get their second battle on "Favorite Group" along with Maroon 5 and Coldplay.
Beside nominated for "Favorite Group", Coldplay with their single "Viva La Vida" have been among the nominees of "Favorite Rock Song" with Kid Rock's "All Summer Long" and OneRepublic's "Apologize" featuring Timbaland. Meanwhile, "Favorite Hip Hop Song" will see a stiff competition between Kanye West's "Good Life", Lil Wayne's "Lollipop" featuring Static Major, and Flo Rida's "Low" featuring T-Pain.
The last nomination in honor of fans' favorite in music is "Favorite Combined Forces". The collaboration between Madonna and Justin Timberlake on "4 Minutes" is set to battle joint forces between Natasha Bedingfield and Sean Kingston on "Love Like This" and Spark with Brown on "No Air".
