Speaking about what he thinks about the Apple store's digital media outlet, Kid said, "The Internet was an opportunity for everyone to be treated fairly, for the consumer to get a fair price, for the artist to be paid fairly, for the record companies to make some money. But they stuck to the 'old system'." Explaining that he has no problems about not putting his albums on iTunes the singer stated, "I've just sold a million records, I'm not really feeling that blow."

The rock star was forced to pull out of a scheduled performance at the Download Festival, a three-day British music concert, after suffering from stomach cramps and dehydration.
Rock initially was tapped to perform on the festival at around 3.30 P.M. At the last minute, announcers told the audience that he was unwell and wouldn't perform. "We've had the curse of Download. Kid Rock is not very well, we've had to rush him to hospital in Nottingham. He apologizes to his fans," so the announcers told the crowds.

He has on Monday pleaded no contest to criminal assault charges for attacking 30-year-old DJ Jerry Campos and was given a suspended sentence of 11 months and 29 days. In addition to those, the musician also must complete eight hours of anger-management classes and pay $180 to replace Campos' eyeglasses, which apparently broke after he smacked him.
However, the case still moves on. On the same day Rock filed his plea, Campos filed a $575,000 civil suit against him, claiming the star's February attack caused "severe, disabling and permanent injuries" to him. Nick Stern, a spokesman for Kid Rock, didn't return a phone call Wednesday night seeking comment.
