November 16, 2009 01:11:54OneRepublic are readying to follow up their debut album "Dreaming Out Loud" which has sent them to worldwide stardom with another studio project "Waking Up" which is due for November 17 U.S. release. With this new effort, frontman Ryan Tedder said they've "kinda of woken up" after finishing its predecessor in 2004 but had to wait for almost three years and a half to make the album come out for purchase.
Also, this band have evolved from the first record to the second one. Bassist Brent Kutzle exclusively told AceShowbiz, "This album will have more up-tempo songs compared to the last. I think when you tour as much as we did the past three years you not only want to put out songs that move people, but you'd want your own live set to be just as fun for you."

November 11, 2009 04:11:22Although their frontman Ryan Tedder is busy writing songs for other artists, OneRepublic managed to get their second studio album "Waking Up" done and filled it with catchy tunes that are singable for everyone. The band, who are currently touring with Rob Thomas, will release it across United States on November 17.
In advance of the album, bassist Brent Kutzle exclusively told AceShowbiz what they have to offer in the forthcoming release. From talking about the album, he also revealed about submitting one of the album's songs for Timbaland's new album "Shock Value 2". The band's collaboration with Leona Lewis, their duet wish list and who, among the five members of the band, tweets the most are also addressed by Brent.
OneRepublic's 'All the Right Moves' Music Video
October 08, 2009 11:10:31OneRepublic's "All the Right Moves" music video has been brought out by MTV. The video features the Ryan Tedder-fronted band making a live performance at a masked ball.
"All the Right Moves" is confirmed as the lead single from their forthcoming second studio album "Waking Up". Coming out in CD quality in September, the song actually is not quite new as it has been performed by the band at several live concerts last year. "However the recorded version is quite another animal than what we performed live - it's BETTER," so Ryan said.

OneRepublic Announce New Album's Title

"NEW album title is WAKING UP!! Cant wait for you all to hear this record...single/ album release coming very soon," they tweeted. They then posted another message read, "When we say 'soon,' that means you might be hearing our 1st single sometime in the next month."
Adam Lambert Works With OneRepublic's Frontman for Post-Idol Album

And according to Entertainment Weekly, OneRepublic's vocalist Ryan Tedder whose songwriting and producing credit included Beyonce Knowles, Leona Lewis and Jordin Sparks will make a contribution.
A source close to Adam also stated that the 2009 Idol runner-up has tagged producer Linda Perry (Christina Aguilera, Pink, James Blunt) in an attempt to make hits. Furthermore, he is rumored getting help from Idol judge Kara DioGuardi.
51st Annual Grammy Awards Nominees Announced, Lil Wayne Led With Eight Nods
December 04, 2008 11:12:19Nominations for the 51st annual Grammy Awards have been announced in a CBS' live show which took place at Los Angeles' Nokia Theatre on December 3. Co-hosted by LL Cool J and Taylor Swift, the event revealed that rap mogul Lil Wayne led the pack with eight nods.
Topping the nominations, Wayne put his sixth studio album "Tha Carter III" into a battle in the category of "Album of the Year" with Coldplay's "Viva La Vida", Ne-Yo's "Year of the Gentleman", Robert Plant and Alison Krauss' "Raising Sand" and Radiohead's "In Rainbows". Meanwhile, he gained seven other nods from such categories as "Best Rap Solo Performance", "Best Rap/Sung Collaboration", "Best Rap Album", "Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group" and "Best Rap Song". In the two latter counts, he received two nominations each.

OneRepublic and Fabolous Make a Touring Team for Campuses
March 01, 2008 10:03:16Emerging with their huge hit "Apologize" that was produced by Timbaland, rock act OneRepublic are set to promote their album "Dreaming Out Loud" that was released in November last year. They will stop by in colleges in support of the debut effort, with rapper Fabolous alongside them.
The unlikely partnership will stop at college campuses in Spring in a tour dubbed "Crocs Next Step Campus Tour". It will start April 10 at Miami's Florida International University and wind down May 3 at Albany's SUNY Albany. Fabolous meanwhile, jumps on this tour to still support his June 2007 release, "From Nothin' to Somethin'".
Video Premiere: OneRepublic's 'Stop and Stare'
January 29, 2008 09:01:05While the first single 'Apologize' is still hot on the chart, new pop rock sensation OneRepublic move on with the second one, 'Stop and Stare'. A music video for it has been premiered on MTV's TRL on Monday, January 28.
The Greg Wells-produced song has been performing rather well on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, climbing up to #43 in its sixth week. In U.K. the single will be outed on March 3 with its album 'Dreaming Out Loud' coming out a week after.
Rapper Timbaland to Appear on ABC's "One Life to Live"

ABC television network announced Wednesday September 19th, Timbaland will appear in an upcoming episode of its long running soap opera "One Life to Live."
The rapper-producer will make his daytime acting debut, playing himself on the soap while will perform two songs, "The Way I Are" and "Apologize," from his recent chart-topper LP "Timbaland Presents Shock Value," alongside the artists who accompanied him on the studio tracks, Keri Hilson for the first song and OneRepublic for the latter one.
