"Mamas, don't let your babies grow up to be Kanye / Let 'em pic guitars and drive them old trucks / 'cause cowboys have manners, they don't interrupt," they sang.
This was not the only set in which Kanye got slammed. Later that night at the November 11 ceremony, Jimmy Dickens made fun of the rapper. Jimmy came onto the stage and interrupted Brad when he talked about his "Welcome to the Future" video by saying that Taylor has the best video ever.

August 20, 2009 01:08:05Jay-Z's music video for "Run This Town", one of the singles in his September 11 release "The Blueprint 3", has finally arrived in full. The Anthony Mandler-directed video has two featured guests in the song, Rihanna and Kanye West, making cameo appearances.
The video was filmed at Fort Totten Park in New York on August 6. On what Anthony tries to capture for the video, he previously told MTV, "I wanted it to feel more ancient. I wanted it to feel more European but on American soil. I didn't want it to have a framework, like, 'Oh, we're riding in New York'."

Inviting more that 700 selected guests, West signed Italian artist Vanessa Beecroft to create the live art show for the at-least-40 naked models.

This is the most offended I've ever been... this is the maddest I ever will be," Kanye wrote.
As previously reported, Kanye got booed by the crowd and also having his stage filled with thrown objects just before he started his concert. The incident happened because the rapper was appearing two hours late from his scheduled time. Shortly after the incident, the organizers told the press that the "Gold Digger" rapper's late arrival was caused by his over elaborated stage set that took too long to load in.

On the heels of 'Stronger', Kanye West is having 'Good Life' as the third single off studio album 'Graduation'. The singer performed the full version of the song for the first time in an event to honor music mogul Quincy Jones on July 28.
'Good Life' is a mid-tempo featuring T-Pain. Part of it samples on Michael Jackson's 1983 hit 'P.Y.T (Pretty Young Thing)'. Two Bodyguards Shot at Kanye West Concert

Two security guards were shot Tuesday night Feb 28th, 2006 at Kanye West's concert in Birmingham, England after a group of people without tickets for the show tried to rush the gate. The men were immediately rushed to hospital, one of them is in a serious condition and still in hospital, while the other one has been released after treatment.
The shooting incident reportedly happened at around 10 PM soon after the two guards ejected a group of ticketless fans. While onlookers claimed there were several people seemingly involved in the shooting, police won't treat it as a gang-related incident. Already arrested one man and one woman who are suspected to be involved in the shooting, police are still continuing their search for the potential shooter.

A Deejay Countersues Kanye West
November 11, 2005 11:11:59These coming days will become a tough day for the Gold Digger as he has to face a countersuit filed by a deejay he had been sued earlier this year to keep him from distributing some of his unreleased songs. In his lawsuit Eric "E-Smoove" Miller claims that rapper Kanye West worked for and with him in the mid-1990s on recordings of 10 songs, including "Ho!!!" and "Stop Frontin'."
In other words, Miller disputes West's contention that the two didn't have a contract. About which West's lawyers previously stated that Miller offered the songs to distributors using a fake contract with West's fake signature. Thus, the singer seeks at least $1.3 million and to ban Miller from using his name or voice in connection with the recordings.

Ciara Dominates Vibe Awards Nominations

Ups for the same category is Kanye West, Mariah Carey, John Legend and 50 Cent, who each have four nominations.
Elsewhere, nominees for Album of the Year are "Get Lifted" by Legend, "Late Registration" by West, "The Documentary" by The Game, "The Emancipation of Mimi" by Mariah Carey and "The Naked Truth" by Lil' Kim, who won't be able to attend the ceremony as she is serving a 366-day sentence at a federal detention center in Philadelphia.

As strong as the rapper is pop diva Mariah Carey, whose "Shake It Off" sits at No. 2 of the chart for a sixth. Just behind is Canadian rock band Nickelback's "Photograph" ups one place to No. 3.
"Like You" by Bow Wow drops one place to No. 4, ahead of "My Humps" by the Black Eyed Peas which remains at No. 5. Green Day's "Wake Me Up When September Ends" and David Banner's "Play" each ups one to No. 6 and 7 respectively. In time, Young Jeezy's "Soul Survivor" featuring Akon rising eight places to No. 8. At no. 9 is Carey's former chart-topper "We Belong Together," followed behind by Fall Out Boy's "Sugar, We're Goin' Down" at No. 10.
Gretchen Wilson Beats All to Up the Charts

The singer's sophomore effort titled "All Jacked Up" successfully debuts at the top of the Billboard 200 and Billboard Top Country Albums charts this week after moving 264,000 units in its first week of release. Sheryl Crow's "Wildflower" secures the 2nd rank with 140,000 copies.
Comes after Crow at No. 3 is Three Six Mafia's "Most Known Unknown," which sold 115,000 copies in its first week of release. The band followed by Toni Braxton at No. 4 with "Libra" which moved 114,000 units in its debut week. Rounding out the top five is Kanye West's "Late Registration," which drops from No. 3 to No. 5. Debuts at No. 6 is Lil' Kim, whose "Naked Truth" sold 109,000 units in its first week on the charts.

Kanye West Heads South
September 16, 2005 10:09:36In support of "Late Registration," his one-million-selling Number One album, Kanye West will embark on a forty-four-date tour opens October 11th outside Miami. Joining him on the "Touch the Sky" fall trek are fellow Chicago rapper Common Sense, American Idol winner Fantasia Barrino, and R&B newcomer Keyshia Cole.

West Sues Chicago DJ
August 31, 2005 09:08:07Coincide with the release of his new album "Late Registration" Thursday, Hip-hop star Kanye West has filed a lawsuit accusing a Chicago DJ of possessing 10 unreleased songs that he produced before he was 18. The 20-page lawsuit, filed Monday in federal court in Chicago, claims Eric "E-Smoove" Miller, who helped record the songs before West became famous, improperly tried to distribute some of those master recordings earlier this year.
In details, the lawsuit mentions Miller to have falsely claimed he had a contract to distribute the music and thus tried to offer the songs, include "Ho!!!" and "Stop Frontin'," to distributors using a fake contract with West's fake signature. In the lawsuit, West seeks payment of no less than $1.3 million, while also demands that Miller cease from ever using his name or voice in connection with the master recordings. Miller, who owns Focus Music Group, not yet gives comment.
"Late Registration"'s Release Delayed
