It was the education that he put as a priority and the good intention came along with his reputation to be the high school's basketball star. But after he broke his ankle during a game, he couldn't continue playing and that's when he started doing theatrical acting in his school. Becoming the lead character in Shakespeare's plays such as "Romeo and Juliet" and "Hamlet", he quickly attracted a group of people from his school, especially girls to watch his every performance. The group grew to be a large crowd and finally he was known worldwide as he began to have fan sites and amazingly all of this happened after only doing one movie.
Upon accomplishing his study, the teen actor was ready to take a role in a movie and landed his choice in "Dreams in the Attic" (2000) where Haylie Duff played opposite him.
