Their story was turned into a movie called "The Bling Ring". Written, directed and produced by Sofia Coppola, it starred Katie Chang, Israel Broussard, Emma Watson, Taissa Farmiga and Claire Julien. It was released in 2013, four years after the real-life crime spree ended in 2009.
