Amy Poehler, Kristen Wiig, Maya Rudolph, Tom Hanks, Eddie Murphy, Paul Rudd and Alec Baldwin are among the star-studded guest list of the 'Saturday Night Live' special.

AceShowbiz - Celebrities packed the 30 Rockefeller Plaza in New York, NY, on Sunday night, February 15 not only because it's the headquarters of NBC but also because it's where the "Saturday Night Live" 40th anniversary special took place. From comedians to TV anchors and singers to actors, all joined in for the star-studded celebration.

Keeping the laughs flowing since the beginning, best pals Justin Timberlake and Jimmy Fallon goofed around on the red carpet where they were joined by Billy Crystal. Former cast member Jason Sudeikis and actress wife Olivia Wilde also made funny faces on the red carpet, while the current players including Kenan Thompson, Taran Killam, Sasheer Zamata, Pete Davidson and Kate McKinnon took a selfie together.

Amy Poehler, Kristen Wiig, Maya Rudolph, Tina Fey, Adam Sandler, Will Ferrell, Eddie Murphy, Seth Meyers, Bill Hader and Fred Armisen were among the former cast members supporting the event. Meanwhile, Bradley Cooper, Tom Hanks, Jim Carrey, Betty White, Alec Baldwin, Paul Rudd, Bob Odenkirk, Sarah Palin, Donald Trump, James Franco, Sarah Silverman, Melissa McCarthy and Ryan Phillippe were seen among the A-list guests.

The "SNL" 40th anniversary special is airing live from 8 P.M. on the East Coast and will run for three and a half hours.
