The 'American Idol' alumna accepts the award just after she presents a tribute to Oklahoma Tornado victims with her performance of 'See You Again'.

AceShowbiz - Carrie Underwood stole the show towards the end of the 2013 CMT Awards with her beautiful rendition of "See You Again" and her Video of the Year win. After delivering the musical tribute dedicated to the victims of the recent tornadoes that had devastated Oklahoma, she returned to the stage to accept the most coveted prize at the event.

Still dressed in a pale pink dress with sparkly details which she wore during the performance, she received the award from presenters Sheryl Crow and Kenny Rogers. The 30-year-old singer gave a shoutout to her husband Mike Fisher who was having his birthday, saying, "I got you a present."

Underwood won the Video of the Year award for "Blown Away" clip. She edged out the likes of Brad Paisley, Florida Georgia Line, Jason Aldean, Miranda Lambert, Taylor Swift and Tim McGraw for the title.

Winning big in term of number were Florida Georgia Line and Miranda Lambert who took home two each. The country music duo, who closed the show with their performance of "Cruise", was honored with Duo Video of the Year and Breakthrough Video of the Year for the song's clip.

Lambert, meanwhile, nabbed CMT Performance of the Year for "Over You" from 2012 CMT Artists of the Year, and Female Video of the Year for "Mama's Broken Heart" clip. She later presented Male Video of the Year award which went to her husband Blake Shelton.

Lambert accepted the prize on her husband's behalf, pointing out that Shelton tried hard to get to the show, but unfortunately he could not make it in time. She declared that she's "drinking for two tonight."

Other winners at the event were Lady Antebellum, Hunter Hayes and Jason Aldean with Luke Bryan and Eric Church. The trio grabbed Group Video of the Year for "Downtown" clip, Hayes was honored with Nationwide Is On Your Side Award, while the three male artists shared the Collaborative Video of the Year title.

The 2013 CMT Music Awards was hosted by Aldean and Kristen Bell. Also serving as musical performers, Aldean took the outdoor stage to sing "Night Train", Hayes performed "I Want Crazy", Lady Antebellum sang "Wagon Wheel" with Darius Rucker, and Taylor Swift performer "Red", the title track of her latest album.
